I can’t see it. Burnley need players to get them out of the shit now, not in a year or two’s time. Buckley’s not nearly at that level at the moment. Having said that if they’re already resigned to being relegated he’d be a good signing.

If we don’t get promotion this season, and hand on heart given the way the club is run I don’t think we will, there is absolutely no chance that Brererton will be at the club next season. Even if by some miracle we do get promoted I still think he’d leave given the clubs that are supposed to be wanting to sign him.

When Carroll gets it all together he’s a handful. Wether he can still do it at top level remains to be seen. I wouldn’t write him off without seeing him play.
