Summer transfer window 2021.

No point getting bent out of shape about the transfer fee. If we see any of it I’ll be amazed. -

I put GMR on at 3-00 pm hoping for some Rugby League commentary. For some reason they were running an interview with the new Bolton manager. He’s a very ambitious and impressive guy. Let’s see if he can turn things around again this season. ” Where do you want to be in five year Ian ? “ - “ In the Premier League, hopefully with Wanderers “. ” Hand on heart where do expect Wanderers to finish this season Ian ? “ - “ Promoted again “ What a difference in attitude and approach to the game. -

You might incur added charges buying from the EU nowadays. I’ve read stories of people having to pay surcharges on goods being imported from abroad. -

Anybody seen Smallwood’s goal at PNE ? Two deflections and it crept in by the far post. Great. The lad Rathbone, son of Mick “ Basil “ Rathbone, who were supposed to be interested in came on as a sub for Rotherham yesterday in their 2-0 home defeat of Plymouth. One to watch ? -

People will come again if A) We win. And They feel they’ve seen an entertaining game. Yesterday ticks both boxes. -

There’s losing, and then there’s getting dicked 4-1 playing a newly promoted team in your first game at home after opening the scoring . If Carlsberg did losing that’d be it. -

If you’re drinking Amstel you wouldn’t notice any difference. It’s all just fizzy water. -
I was at that Villa game.

A pretty boring 1-2 home defeat to Sheffield United was my first game but the ground, the kit and Bryan Douglas was enough for me.

One game was all it took, hooked for life after that unfortunately.

I’ll be surprised if Ayala plays today. -
Watching the video on the news it’s just so sad that a lovely young girl was murdered in such a pointless manner. If she’d have been a second or two slower walking down the road she might have survived.

JRC and Johnson are both injured and two weeks away from contention apparently. -
Their complete and total lack of football knowledge had me worried right from the off. Competing at the very top on an input of £5 million. That told me all I needed to know. Once they’d sacked Big Sam I really feared the worst. What amazes me if that after 10 years they haven’t learnt a thing. I started getting interested in football when I was 10 years old and by time I was 20 I was pretty knowledgeable about the game, certainly at Rovers level.

I saw him on BBC Northern news on TV last night. They were doing a round up of the local championship clubs. Both of the managers at Blackpool and Preston were reasonably optimistic and enthusiastic about the coming season. Then you had Mowbray gurning his way through the interview. -

I went to Rochdale v Newcastle last season in the FA Cup. I bought a programme for my grandson. It was a really brilliant read, full of interesting stuff. I believe it’s produced by enthusiasts at the club. If they can do it why can’t we ? -

That’s a plus for this season, Mowbray won’t be able to chop and change like he does normally. He won’t be able to sub half the team at half time either. -

How many editions did the last Rovers monthly magazine last for ? I think I had them all bar one and I had eleven. -

The coat of arms is hilarious, delusions of grandeur doesn’t cover it. Regarding the message - it’s plain that no money is being spent and they expect us to do our best with the youth team. -

Championship 21/22
Tyrone Shoelaces replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
My paper has been doing a review of the coming season for all the leagues. Today it was the turn of our division and they have us amongst the relegation candidates - “ The outlook for Blackburn also appears bleak. It is difficult to envisage Adam Armstrong, who scored 29 goals last season, being in the Championship at the end of the transfer window and Tony Mowbray, having failed to add to their squad, presumably will again look to the loan market after Tosin Adarabioyo, Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Harvey Elliott impressed “. -
That’s a very nice shirt for 18 Euros and it’s properly halved, or quartered, if you’re fussy.
