It's on at 17.30 here so it should be on at 11.30 CST, not 13.30. Or was that your plan, to deliberately miss it? -
I give in, are they? The Rovers website still seems to be selling tickets for the game.

What information do you need Rigger? The club website is showing the game on at Leyland on Wednesday 1st Feb.

I'm going to this game. It's a new ground for me and, from my son's house in East London, a lot nearer than from home. It was even more enticing when I bought my train ticket from Stratford to Norwich but now with a rail strike I will still have a 2 hour drive. -

We had a snow shower here in Penwortham which stopped about 20 minutes ago. I suspect it’s the same one crossing Blackburn now. -

Whilst I have plenty of interest in games against PNE I don't have any great animosity towards them. Or towards any other team to be honest. Life is too short to invest too much anger into football. -

It's presumably not too serious. Only a few days ago both Pickering and Vale were thought to be possibly fit for Saturday. -

It will obviously depend on where you live now or were brought up. I live in Penwortham and have never lived nearer Blackburn than Walton-le-Dale. So obviously I come across North End fans all the time and very few Burnley fans. To be honest I have never felt the intense rivalry with Burnley fans because of that but largely don't bring that up on here as it clearly matters a lot to many. -

I don't know what weather forecasts you guys are looking at but the Met Office has no snow forecast at all. It's certainly going to be very cold, barely getting above freezing so there will be ice about and maybe some fog but no snow. -

The next Rovers home game at 3pm on a Saturday is Blackpool on 28/1 and that’s only if we’re not in the 4th round of the cup. -

Blimey - 5 of the next 6 league games now on Sky. -
The last three game one day series in Australia was a complete and utter waste of time but this test series in Pakistan has an importance well beyond the game. It’s the first time England have gone back to Pakistan for a test series since the Sri Lanka team bombings and is of huge importance to both cricket fans and the country as a whole. You could tell that from the reaction when the T20 series was played there a couple of months ago.

It’s not midweek. It’s the weekend of 7th/8th January, as usual for the 3rd round.

You would expect Forest to sell plenty of tickets. They're cheap and this will be the first game since the World Cup break for them. I would probably expect that they will be playing a strong side too, as it can be used as a pre restart game for them. I'm sure the upper tier will be available if they can guarantee enough sales to make it worthwhile for Rovers.

One thing that was quoted was the time that goal celebrations take. -

According to Pier Luigi Collina there has been an instruction to more accurately account for stoppages, building on what was done in Russia in 2018. Apparently the fourth official calculates the amount of time to add on, although the on pitch referee has to finally approve it. Time lost for VAR rulings is calculated separately by the VAR team. -
I remember seeing him at Glastonbury in 2014 when he was still under his terminal diagnosis and then subsequently in Manchester. i suspect I also saw him as a Blockhead with Ian Dury in the early 80s. Unique.

You've just made me feel very old Joey, never having seen Matt Le Tissier live. He is the player who I've seen score the best individual goal at Ewood. I also saw Pele, although by then he was past his best. For reasons I don't know he and his team Santos came to Hillsborough in February 1972 to play Sheffield Wednesday in a friendly - I was in my first year as a student there. It was due to be played on a midweek evening but it was the miners' strike and power cuts meant it had to be played in the afternoon. Still managed to get 37,000 on though. -

I'm afraid that this might have been my fault folks. I bought my 3 month old granddaughter a pair of Rovers dungarees and took them down to her last week in London. She had them on whilst we beat West Ham on Wednesday, so I made arrangements for her to have them on by 12.30 on Sunday. She duly did but around half time she threw up all over them, as 3 month olds often do, and had to have a change. Sorry.
