  1. Was it empty Gav? I don’t know, but it didn’t look empty to me, either when it came on to the pitch or when Johnson threw it back.
  2. I think it's possible to easily predict where there is going to be trouble at away games. I've been to 4 away games so far this season - Stoke, Bournemouth, Wigan and Luton. The only game that was really messy was Wigan - cheap tickets and a short easy journey by train. Bournemouth and Luton both miles away with a small allocation snapped up by regular ST holders, no problem at all. Stoke somewhere in between but I don't recall any issues. You can almost guarantee that there will be problems when we go to Deepdale and maybe Birmingham if the game is important The issues in NO1 I didn't know about until I read above. There doesn't seem to be an issue looking at it from my seat in the JW Upper. But if there is a situation where fans from elsewhere in the BE Lower are moving into the top of NO1 to get into the singing area then that's an issue that needs sorting out. As Darrenrover says I wouldn't want to demonise fans who just want to make a noise and support the team so we need to find them somewhere to go where they won't upset fans who have sat (or stood) in NO1 since the stand was built. This Saturday would be the perfect time to let them go en masse into the Darwen End where there will be plenty of space and they won't upset other ticket holders.
  3. QPR now have 5 points from the last 5 and the only win was against Reading.
  4. I presume that they won't be un less they bring more than 1,500 (very unlikely) or we sell more than 2,500 (again unlikely). Although you would imagine that most of those buying tickets will buy in the Darwen End unless they can't make the QPR game anyway.
  5. Well the Rovers update said that they were hopeful that it was just a knock but he was having a scan - that could have come back negative.
  6. No it wasn't. Geoff66 said it was 8 games since BBD scored and you pointed out that it was 9 with Wigan. I agree 6 and a bit is still not good but it's not the same as 9.
  7. It was a bit difficult for Ben to be scoring for us when he was in South America (and he got 1 there). He has only played in 6 games since Barnsley plus 30 minutes at Swansea.
  8. Reasonably positive - https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2022/february/15/injury-update--ben-brereton-diaz-and-daniel-ayala/
  9. I don't think they see it as a replication but the team management would certainly like there to be Rovers fans at both ends of the ground.
  10. Maybe tonight, but I'm not sure they will over the rest of the season and WBA still have to play most of them. Much as I dislike Bruce (as should every Rovers fan after what he said about us when Kean left) he will probably improve them over the next few weeks. Mind you the next two for them aren't going to be pretty, away at Luton and Boro.
  11. Nyambe had a great game but I had Wharton as man of the match - he didn’t put a foot wrong and can pass the ball out.
  12. Ayala injured in the warm up, so Joe Rankin-Costello in for him.
  13. That's right. A bottle was thrown on to the pitch just missing Samba. Johnson threw it back quite forcefully and hit a photographer. I doubt it did any damage but if it had hit a spectator all hell could have broken loose. Of course it wouldn't have happened at all if the bottle hadn't come out of the Blackburn End in the first place.
  14. Bear in mind that, despite the game being live on Sky Arena, it will also be available on Rovers TV to both UK and International fans for the usual £10 or in your subscription if you have one.
  15. When rival teams play each other a draw is nearly always the best result as it will be with these two games.
  16. Give over. We have played one home game in more than 5 weeks and there has been plenty of dry weather in that time. There's rain forecast for tonight but it's looking dry all day tomorrow.
  17. The normal plan they follow for players returning from a long term injury is 3 games for the under 23s playing 45, 60 and 90 minutes. Dack still needs a 90 minute game yet on that formula. But I guess it’s possible that he might make an exception for Davk.
  18. Err no. The quickest way to Swansea would normally be on the M4 from Newport after the M50, except today obviously.
  19. Well Naughton was substituted after 22 minutes so presumably an injury.
