  1. There will also be the probable delays for checking vaccination passes on Saturday so personally I would be getting a ticket in advance too, even if you just call up and pick up the ticket at the ground.
  2. Glen - one thing that you may not be aware of is that this initiative is actually generating income for the club, not costing. I'm sure that it will be a tiny amount but there is income coming in. I don't know where from - it may well be sponsorship rather than from the recipients of the tickets, but it is income generating.
  3. Yes he did. He came to get the ball back, presumably to get on with the game. Given there wouldn’t be a restart without both teams being ready it was pointless. It should have been a booking at least. As it happens there was then an injury and the game didn’t restart for another couple of minutes anyway.
  4. Can Hecke’s dad was in with the Rovers fans today beaming from ear to ear at the end.
  5. Me too Rigger. I’m already on my way (via my son in London). Gav - we only played them 3 times in the 80s so maybe you got them all. We’ve only played them away 12 times in all and only 10 in the league.
  6. There is another Bournemouth thread Joey, albeit it hasn’t been pinned yet.
  7. The game has not been chosen for live UK TV coverage. Unsurprisingly every chosen game has at least one PL team. Of course it could still end up being moved as per last season.
  8. The staff still have to act on whatever you do on the app - it doesn't write and sign prescriptions for them.
  9. You're correct. I did amend it on another thread but forgot that I had posted here as well. The original report said that the new rules were being introduced from this Friday, hence my post, but then later it was corrected to just the new mask rules on Friday and vaccination passes next week.
  10. I honestly don't know whether my practice uses the app or not. But I don't have any problems contacting them, seeing them if I need to, getting repeat prescriptions etc.
  11. Presumably that wasn't the first Hearts game with passes needed though? I can imagine that fans will fairly quickly get used to the extra procedure but that for the first game it could be very challenging, especially if there are a significant number who don't have the right paperwork.
  12. The MyGP app may very well be better, easier to use, with more information. I don't know, I've never used it. But it's all irrelevant as it's not the app to use for your vaccination pass - you need the official NHS app or get yourself a paper version. Or ake an LFT if you're not vaccinated. Or better still get vaccinated now.
  13. The app you need is not the track and trace one. It is called the NHS app, not the NHS Covid app. The NHS app will hold your medical records as well if you want. These are the two main NHS apps. Chaddy seems to have MyGP, but that’s not the right one either.
  14. If you’ve got the app download the pass now. As oldewoodblue says it lasts for 30 days. I just did mine as I haven’t used it for a while and mine is good until 7th January.
  15. No. We have passed the 19 game mark. The next point is 10 cards by 37 games for a 2 game suspension.
  16. That’s true, you can get a hard copy if you don’t have access to a smartphone- doesn’t have to be an iPhone. You need to bear in mind that the paper copy will obviously take a while to come, especially if everyone is now asking for them. I’m pretty sure though that if you want to use a phone you need to have the NHS app that provides you with a QR code - it’s the same one that you use for International travel, not the app you use to check in at venues, known as the NHS Covid app. Chaddy - have you tried to generate a pass on your app - we could be talking about the same app.
  17. Chaddy - you need the NHS app which will download a QR code which is valid for a month from when you do it. I don’t know what app you have but it’s not the standard NHS app used for Covid.
  18. You're right. It was originally reported that these rules regarding passes would come in from Friday but it's now been corrected to just face masks in venues from Friday. So, Birmingham at home will be the first. I know that the club are planning to have more people around checking passes and may well look to volunteer fans to help.
  19. The club have plans in place to deal with this and I’m pretty sure it will be implemented. It’s not the club who are bringing in the restrictions, they will just be implementing them. Expect to have to comply from the Birmingham game onwards (or Bournemouth if you’re going).
  20. Just one or the other. It will cause chaos at grounds and everyone will need to get there earlier.
  21. I’ve just posted about this on the Politics thread but a heads up that the new Plan B rules from Friday that you will need evidence of vaccination through the NHS Covid pass or a negative LTF result to get into the Bournemouth game (and subsequent games).
  22. I think by now that we would have heard noises from the players' agents if no offers have been made. It's quite understandable if frustrating that the agents are telling their players not to sign yet. It's in the agents' interest to try and find better offers than the ones that Rovers have offered. It seems unlikely to me that any club will come up a decent cash offer to take any of the 3 in January unless they have decided that it's a player that they really want and don't want to wait until the close season and risk finding themselves in a bidding war with other clubs. But I guess it could happen and it seems sensible for the club to be looking at potential replacements just in case. For the players they are waiting to see what other offers are out there - maybe there will be and maybe there won't. Obviously Rovers' position in the league come January will have an effect - they are much more likely to want to stay around if our promotion prospects are real. I guess the new contracts have clauses about pay increases should we get promoted. They would have been academic a month or two ago but maybe, just maybe.... With Diaz there must be a chance that there could be an offer in January from a Premier League club desperate to add firepower for the rest of the season - with a contract extension that leaves Rovers in a strong position but there will be a number that the club won't be able to afford to turn down. It's a matter of speculation as what that number is - my guess would be north of £20m.
  23. It was also confirmed by Steve Waggott at the Fans Forum.
  24. Certainly that was the message Steve Waggott was giving at the last FF. He talked about having budget left over to spend and that this season there was a real opportunity given that several clubs that were expected to challenge had had bad starts. the club have targets identified and were also mindful that should the club get an offer for any player that they could not refuse that replacements were also to be identified. Of course it's one thing identifying targets and another getting deals signed but he certainly gave the impression that he was expecting January to be busy.
