  1. I can't remember the last time one of your sources came through.
  2. At a properly run club it wouldn't be an issue. There are plenty of minutes to go around and we ran Travis and Tronstad into the ground last season - both picked up significant injuries because they were overworked. At Rovers we're expecting an Academy player to back up our starter, so yeah it's unlikely to happen.
  3. He's a better crosser than the lad we've just signed.
  4. The question has to be asked again, what the actual fuck do they get out of owning this club?
  5. That's quite funny, to be fair. They're utter snakes. They're also not going to be able to field a team.
  6. He'd start at 2/3rds of the clubs in this league without even blinking.
  7. I can guarantee Derby haven't offered Batth a two year deal (yet) because he'd be holding up a white shirt already.
  8. An option in who's favour? The club's? May as well be a 1 year deal then.
  9. Alarm bells didn't ring for you when Eustace walked? They didn't blare louder when you heard Gestede speak publicly?
  10. Who does a 2 year deal harm, exactly? Let's say he's brilliant again next year, but the year after his legs completely go (unlikely). He'd still be a very useful bench player and personality to have around the squad (he seems incredibly professional). They were willing to keep McFadzean on as essentially a player / coach. Why not Batth? We apparently have 2 or 3 really promising young CBs on the books, they could learn a lot from him.
  11. They sat him on the bench behind Calamity for most of the year, of course he wants out.
  12. They've probably already had the Premier League replica trophy sized up for melting down. Could probably keep the electricity on for another week.
  13. I didn't say it sounded unreasonable. Unappealing though for sure.
  14. So yes, he's never home. Question asked and answered.
  15. Similar to Ennis, I was absolutely startled at how slow he was.
  16. How does one physically get to see 5 live matches a week? Unless several of them are on a park pitch? Is your younger relative CONSTANTLY on the road, reviewing video footage from hotel rooms as he (or she) hops from town to town?
  17. The Dutch journalists said he was one of the better players in the league who had been phased out during the second half of the season because he'd made it clear he was leaving.
  18. Beck - now there's a player an ambitious Championship team should be all over.
  19. I don't know why I let myself get drawn into this.
  20. We'll be at the back of the queue for any loans (cos we won't pay) so we'll be saddled with little boys like Cozier-Duberry and Clarkson again.
