  1. I think so. Seen enough of Gueye to last me a lifetime. Can pretty much gaurentee that he would have been even less effective than Henriksson/Dlamini was as we have seen the evidence already this season.
  2. Both have the same amount this season though. Poor players.
  3. Sheffield Wednesday while a bad side, aren't the pushovers they were back in August/September either. Scored twice and were unlucky not to beat Hull the other day who are flying. Two shattered sides who have to play two more games before the end of the week due to the ridiculous schedule. Inexpect very similar performances against Wrexham and Charlton.
  4. This always happens when a player isn't selected for a few games on here. Believe me, Henriksson offers much more up top than Gueye, and thats saying something.
  5. Maybe I am softening up, probably because my expectations are at rock bottom after 15 years of this ownership, but the only thing missing last night was a finisher. We controlled most of the game, and there wasn't that much wrong until we got to the final third, lack of urgency and quality in attack cost us 2 points. Cantwell though, for a player so talented I have never seen anyone as bad at striking a ball towards goal. Woeful.
  6. That wasn't an option. The club goes bust tomorrow, and the only people who can save it are venkys or Mike Ashley and you get to choose. Who are you choosing?
  7. 270 tickets made available online.
  8. You don't want Mike Ashley because of what Newcastle fans thought of him. Yet in the other thread when pointed out to you that Hull had McLoughlin sussed out when they moved him from centre back to left back because he isnt very good in the middle you "weren't interested" in what they thought. Make it up as you go along you do. Mike Ashley would be 100 times better than this shit show we have now.
  9. There's no way anybody at Ewood is bothering to work that out!
  10. Processing time. Another indication that they think the fans are thick and will swallow anything told to them. When they played Derby on the 15th December, away tickets were still on sale upto 12pm on that day with no break inbetween. Why didn't they need more time for processing? As has been said by many, this just isn't a serious operation anymore.
  11. Never been a credible link to him i dont think.
  12. Because the ref saw it and booked him, I dont think they can go back and do anything about it. I also dont think anything really changes in the game if he was sent off, we might have had a bit more possession but dont think we were ever scoring.
  13. From a selfish point of view, I'm delighted he isnt playing. Kind of like a mid season break for him which was probably needed as the way he plays you can gaurentee he does a hamstring over this busy period if he was still here. Hopefully he comes back in mid Jan ready to kick on for the second half of the season.
  14. Going off recent history, I'm pretty certain we won't be.
  15. Irrelevant, they showed there worth within a few games of coming in. Half a season in with McLoughlin and I can see why Hull played him at left back, get him out of the way of playing in the middle where he isn't very good. Left side of a 3, can probably get away with him although think I would prefer Pratt there with Wharton in the middle at the moment. That header against Oxford for there goal was another shocker and shows why he shouldn't be in the middle of a 3.
  16. I think its clear they won't bother signing any of them up long term as it would mean wage increases. Probably hoping they can keep themselves in the side and move them on for small fees.
  17. Ah did wonder if the kick the can down the road option might be there. Same with Montgomery isn't it? You would think these two would be the easiest contracts they could possibly sort out, but like you say why bother?
  18. He's really poor in the centre. Weak, not commanding and not great in the air. Might get away with him on the left side of the 3, like we did when Wharton was playing in the middle. You can tell why Hull shunted him out to left back when he was there. Out of contract in the summer so probably just let him walk away. One contract club FC.
  19. With all the evidence provided, do you finally accept this is a Rovers decision to take them off sale 6 days before the game rather than a Sheffield Wednesday one?
  20. The phone lines aren't open on any Mondays now, or non home match Saturdays.
  21. Yes we all know that. The reasoning i give though, will be there logic. Thick as mince up there.
  22. They dont really believe that. The evidence is there, whenever a bigger attendance than normal turns up these players freeze and play like they have never met. Just usual club jargon talk.
  23. The only difference is, and its stretching, is that the club opens up again before any of those games, so can deal with any enquires before the game or refunds if someone can't make it etc. They have 100% been taken off sale because the club isn't open again before the game, I think thats all there is to it. It's stupid but thats this club all over.
  24. Agreed. One of the best defenders in the league though?
