Match pass for this one, no red button this week it seems. -

Not at the moment. Sky aren't showing every midweek game on the red button this season, as they can only show the usual 8 midweek programmes that there usually are. Think there is around 12 this season. -
That's what I thought to be honest, probably never hear a mention of it again.

Did that training pitch ever get named after Tony Parkes?

Luton Town v Rovers Sat 21st Nov. 3pm

JRC over Nyambe long term? Who do you think Travis & Dack replace in that first 11? Plus I think we're allowed 9 on the bench from this weekend. -
I'd personally say that Bowyer worked more miracles than Mowbray has, what has Mowbray achieved that Bowyer didn't? And please don't say a league one promotion. Bowyer's full seasons in charge produced final positions of 8th & 9th, compared to Mowbrays 15th & 11th, and with far less money at his disposal too. You can argue that Mowbray inherited a huge mess from Coyle, but I'd argue that the mess Bowyer inherited from the 12-13 season where we had 5 managerial changes was far worse. He still had the likes of Murphy, Etuhu, Goodwillie, Rosado, Edinho, Henrique, Orr, DJ Campbell, Best & more on the books when he took over. I think both of these fall into the category you put Bowyer in to be honest, both nice blokes who have done there best, but neither are nowhere near good enough if we want to be in those top 6 positions for the majority of the season.

Pretty sure the club cash was dropped this season.
-
He's just not a very good player. Bang average at everything. If we're picking a worst 11 of the last 10 years, for the amount of time he has been here, games played and contribution, he's an absolute shoe in, in central midfield. Probably partnering Lowe. No, I haven't forgotten about Murphy, Etuhu, Petrovic etc. All those were gone as quickly as they appeared.
-
A mid table finish though will probably see half of that team leave, plus Nyambe, JRC & Rothwell are all out of contract in the summer. There's no way that team will carry on together for the next 3/4 years.
-
Let's hope they lose then.
-
He could lose the next 6 and still be safe.
-
Thats very open ended. We could finish 16th and say "well, we tried!" Is that good enough?
-
Chaddy, what is the aim for Rovers this season?
-
I dont think the question was specifically aimed at this game. More u23/18 in general.
-
They probably can, just not interested I'm guessing.

Rovers vs Reading at Virtual Ewood

Pears dad is an old team mate of Mowbray's, that's why we have signed him. -
Rovers vs Reading at Virtual Ewood

How can you forget that magical week in August 2018 after we beat Brentford 1-0 at Ewood? We spent a whole week in the top six, then lost 4-1 at Bristol. Infact we have only spent 10 weeks in the top 6 of this league since relegation in 2012, and six of those weeks were straight afterwards under Ke*n & Black. We're going nowhere anytime soon. -
All non league clubs below conference north/south were allowed crowds in for there FA Cup games so far. Any that have made it to the first round though now have to play behind closed doors. Makea no sense to me.
-
Personally think Dolan will be playing more for the U23s than the first team come the new year. Think when Dack gets back involved he has to be in that front three.

Did Brentford pay £30m for Ollie Watkins?

Not sure about that, I'd say we have played like that 5 times this season, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Wycombe, Derby & Watford, we won two of them and lost three. So we don't win playing like that 9/10 times at all. I also think you will be saying that exact same thing a few more times this season yet. Still, it's the "best football ever played by a Rovers side" apparently. This is how I look at it, I can't really understand enjoying possession stats that don't go anywhere and end up losing the game. Give me the bit in bold every time over last night.
