I find it strange that the minutes aren't recorded. Every meeting I have been in, in my professional life has been recorded for minute purposes. That way, when the minutes are written up and are circulated to the relevant parties there can be nothing disputed.

Worth nothing that if Miyoshi plays in the Bundesliga 2 then he would no longer be eligible without an ESC place so would rule him out signing for us. His time at Birmingham doesn't come into it. He didn't play last weekend when there league started, and his club plays on Sunday at 12:30. Be interesting to see if he's involved. For this one, I think Nixons info is well out of date, he was going on about a winger weeks ago and it doesn't seem close at all. Also struggle to see us paying that kind of money for someone who is 28. Nixon was also banging on about Kapaudi saying our bid was live for a good week after McLoughlin signed when it clearly wasn't, and was still pushing Baradji as late as this weekend despite us having no ESC spots available.

I don't think anyone who has signed since last summer will ever sign new contracts either. The "plan" now will be to play them and hopefully develop them to sell 2 years into there 3 (+1) year deals. We're a one contract club now.

I'm surprised they want another CB according to Elliot. I thought Miller might have been a "two in one" deal and cover both RB and CB. Agreed that winger and striker should be the priorities now.

I also think we're fighting a losing battle with Tyjon. I certainly don't see him signing a pro deal here, think he would have already if he was going to. I don't know what the magic fee for him is but I suspect he will be sold before long. Him "Waiting to see what his pathway is" before committing is just fanciful thinking IMO.

Axel on the bench would be my guess. Be surprised if Miller is starting any time soon though,.

I'd still be keen on trying to find Leonard a league one loan, see if his body can handle playing regularly at that level week in week out. Don't think it does the club or player any good to be hanging around here being 3rd choice and occasionally playing Under 21 games. Move him out and get someone in who is quick and who can play on the shoulder would be my preference then we have three different strikers to mix it up.

I think you are correct. I think Trav goes and Tronstad see's out his contract and leaves for free next season. The signings this summer are with all this in mind. Our midfield 3 next season will likely be Baradji, Taveres & Henriksson replacing Travis, Tronstad and Cantwell.

Certainly wasn't nowhere like Steve Kean. I thought he did a really good job for 18 months or so. There was a lot of truth in that post though, he was the first one to dumb down expectations with such classics as "it's not 1995 anymore" and "I dont look at the table, i'm a development coach". Also what was the comment when Stuart Harvey left the club? Sunderland being a huge tank coming past out crappy cheap little car or something?

Potential. Could have said the same a few years back when we kept sending Wharton and Carter on loan, before becoming important members of the squad, He's still only 20, seems to be some sort of myth these days that 20/21 year olds should be ready to slot straight into first teams. This route is needed for many players before they become ready, he might never be Championship ready, but a season of League 2 and then followed up with one in League 1 certainly won't hurt and we can assess it next summer. Especially with us being well covered in that position at the min.

That would be his "option" season too, I can already see how this plays out, he will get into the side around February 2027, have a really good end to the season before we fail to agree new terms with him, "Backed into a corner" again.

We all know that. The club has a different opinion though unfortunately. I would bet my mortgage on who ever they sign for the RW spot will be coming in as back up to Hedges. We don't improve the first 11 as a rule here.

Forson would make sense over someone like Afolayan too. Forson only started one game all season for Monza last season. The club want someone to come in as back up to Hedges and be a "20/30 minute" player on that side much like Kargbo is on the other. He also isn't particularly quick I don't think, decent over the first 10 yards like ACD or Dolan but not a sprinter like Kargbo. I'm guessing he would jump at that squad role, where as someone experienced would want to be a starter.
