  1. Only really works if they manage to get him out of the door. The player could just sit on his contract and try his luck fresh in the summer instead of rushing into something now.
  2. No that's incorrect, we can still sell him for a fee. Not that I expect we will though. If he's to leave I expect it will be a loan until the end of his contract.
  3. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/february/07/squad-list-confirmed-for-the-remainder-of-2024-25/ Sigurdsson confirmed as the man to miss out.
  4. To be fair we only kept 1 in the last 7 before he got injured. Hoping this game springs up a "result when you least expect it" game.
  5. Yeah absolutely. When a Rovers game is moved to a Sunday I always give him the choice. Only time he has decided to go and watch was the FA Cup Quarter Final against Sheffield Utd the other season, every other time he's chosen to play. Like you say you can't beat it.
  6. Sunday 12/1230 is the worst kick off time there is. Not surprised the ticket sales are really slow. My lad plays Sunday mornings so this is a no-go, I imagine there must be hundreds of parents/kids in the same boat with grassroots football on a Sunday morning.
  7. Correct it was £30 off, giving them too much credit there!
  8. Seemed to be when the Ewood fan takeover day against Watford was happening, or when the £50 discount on ST's was being fairly well received.
  9. Makes you wonder if Ohashi is going to be the one omitted from the 25 man squad. Would probably make sense with us bringing in two strikers, and the fact he has been playing football non stop since February 2024. Would allow him to go get over his injury, spend some time at home, have a complete rest and reset, and come back strong and fresh in pre season.
  10. One thing that always gets me, is that when we are defending a 1 goal lead in injury time our box is always getting absolutely peppered and our lads are usually defending for there lives. Yet when we need a goal in injury time we can't get anywhere near the opposition box. We haven't scored an added time equaliser or winner in front of fans since before covid. (Batth at Leeds was smack on 90 mins)
  11. Be amazed if it's not Sigurdsson. We have Kargbo, Dolan, Hedges, ACD, Weimann, Cantwell, Woodrow, Dennis, Ohashi, Gueye & Leonard for the four forward positions now. Should something happen to Beck or Riberio around April time Pickering could become a crucial squad member again.
  12. To be honest, that doesn't really bother me in January. I think the January window is all about getting players who can make you better now, ready for the run in whether they are 4 years, 6 month, or just loan deals. Time for signing players on long deals who you can hopefully develop and grow is the Summer window. Not that I think we will do that of course.
  13. Can only be Kargbo in line for a debut. Riberio, Dennis & Woodrow would have had to signed by 12pm yesterday to be involved tonight.
  14. Unless we somehow go up this season, then i expect Dolan, Brittain, Hyam, Travis & Tronstad to all leave for nothing in the next 18 months.
  15. I just think playing those two out wide from the start will make us very open, something I personally can't se Eustace doing. Unless of course we can start them, get a couple of goals up by the hour mark and bring on the more hardworking players then.
  16. Hyam has an option so that will kick the can down the road for another year, also Hedges.
  17. Out of the 26 players that can be registered, 11 of them are out of contract or going back to there parent clubs. Beck, ACD, Sanderson, Woodrow, Dennis, Forshaw, Riberio, Siggurdson, Dolan, Weimann & Batth. Also Hedges & Hyam but they have 1 year options. It's summer 2026 that will be the killer with Brittain, Hyam, Travis, Tronstad & Hedges all out of contract. Hasn't played for 9 months, not expecting much from him which is poor seeing as he's been bought in as the marquee signing. I still think Dolan and Hedges will start the majority of games, while there attacking output isn't great, they both keep the shape of the side really well and make us a lot more organised. When they come off when we are winning we usually end up hanging on for dear life. Think Kargbo & Dennis will be mainly used off the bench to stretch games with there pace. No idea where Woodrow fits in.
  18. Are you not concerned that he hasn't played a game in over 9 months?
  19. Someone could be leaving, or they might just not bother registering Sigurdsson because what's the point? Or could Pickering's injury be worse than expected and maybe he won't be registered? Yes, Riberio has taken that space so one more left.
  20. Also @Madonsaid it. He hears he's partnering Assombalonga for the rest of the season.
  21. Yeah Plymouth cancelled his contract.
  22. Be a strange one, out of contract in summer. We have 3 loans. ACD, Sanderson and Beck.
  23. Thankfully your itk source isn't exactly reliable 😁
  24. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24519670.blackburn-contract-state-play-new-detail-revealed/
  25. Riberio. Hedges and Hyam have options we'll no doubt take up.
