  1. True it wasn't a pretty goal, but you said we never score off corners. Doesn't matter how it goes in, we took a corner and it ended up in the back of the net.
  2. We scored off a corner on Saturday?
  3. Wouldn't mind seeing a return to the back 3 we used relatively successfully at the tougher away games last season. JRC - Hyam - Batth - Pickering - Beck Travis - Tronstad Cantwell Dolan-Gueye I do think this will be a game to far though after a couple of tired perfomances. Watford 2 Rovers 0
  4. There is some confusion there. The last time we won our first 5 home games of the season in a row was 1994/95. The last time we won 6 at home in a row was under JDT, between 13th September-5th November 2022.
  5. We did under JDT... I thought we were ok last night, apart from them two chances in the first half we looked fairly solid. Never felt like we were going to score though, Getting progressively worse at home though, 3-0, 2-0, 1-0 now 0-0. Imagine Sheffield Utd will beat us fairly comfortably in the next home game. Still if someone had said we would be 6th after 11 games with 19 points I would have called them a dirty liar so can't not be happy with our overall start.
  6. Ben Brereton Diaz, against WBA funnily enough in February 2023.
  7. Can't recall him until January anyway. Probably just catching up with folk, seeing how his loan is going etc.
  8. Still gets them out playing football with men though, even a short spell at that level is more beneficial than academy football all the time.
  9. He was on the bench, don't think he got on. Edit - He did get on at half time, missed that on the write up i read up earlier.
  10. I've always thought the ultimate aim for Waggott with the Roverstore is to have it only open on matchdays with it being an online retailer the rest of the week.
  11. I think Eustace does know his best 11. The only one up for debate in his mind is the striker position. In Eustace's mind, I believe his best 11 is - Pears, Brittain, Hyam, Carter, Beck, Travis, Tronstad, Hedges, Dolan, Cantwell, then either Gueye/Ohashi
  12. Doesn't really matter, but I can see two defeats there. August 2021 & December 2011
  13. Yeah I think it could go either way. Would happily take a draw now.
  14. Best home team against the best away team so far this season. A draw is where the sensible money would be, but no reason why we can't nick it.
  15. A bit of both. We have found a formula that works at Ewood, dig in and be clinical without any real free flowing football. Could also be argued that we have played some of the poorer teams at Ewood so far, but to counter that Bristol City, Derby and Oxford are all in the top half with Swansea in 13th. We're doing very well with what we have I think, and hopefully the positive home form continues because I don't see us winning many away games at all this season.
  16. I think Cantwell for Weimann but other than that i expect that will be the side.
  17. Probably not is my guess, no first team player contract renewals since December.
  18. Unless he goes abroad.
  19. It's been discussed pretty much daily on the various transfer threads for over a year!
  20. Dolan has started every game under Eustace so far, he isn't going to drop him now.
  21. The nature of the last 2 games was although can happen, pretty alarming. With WBA, Watford and Sheffield Utd to follow i can see this being a real sticky patch. Rovers 0 Swansea 2
  22. So he's playing at his level then? We'll never be more than an average championship club, with average championship players under these owners.
  23. When was the last time we as a club got somebody tied down to a long term deal after they had entered into the final 12 months of there contract?
  24. One game in the ZDS (Full Members) cup in 1990. We lost 4-1 to Everton, then never seen again. Hardly a former "Blackburn star" !
  25. Strikers Lounge before the game is a must for him. It's located upstairs in the Blackburn End Reception. Has all kinds of games and consoles for them, pool tables, football table etc. Also a sensory room. Think it opens at 130 for a 3pm game. Took my lad up there every game when he stated coming with me, and at 14 we occasionally go up there even now. Think there are also consoles and stuff in the family stand, but I took my lad in the Riverside as I think it's a better view of the game, anything Row 11 and below is clear of the pillars in the stand, we have just gone to the Blackburn End this season.
