  1. I thought they were much better than us, which I suppose was helped by a new manager bounce. They hit the bar, the post, headed over a practically open goal and Kaminski had to make 3 good saves. We had a Brereton shot that there keeper could have put his foot on to save. Disappointed with Buckley today, the way some on here go in about him you would think he was near Tugays level. Hopefully with Holtby and Trybull in there along with Rothwell to come back and Travis in the new year, he can go out and get a loan somewhere in Jan so he can play some meaningful games for somebody instead of the non descript u23 games here. Hopefully he will then come back next season ready to start and impact games for us.
  2. Bennett isn't a good enough footballer for a side that wants to be in the top 6 of this division. Does that classify as hate now? Because that's all I have seen on here or on social media.
  3. I think we both know the answer to that! He would probably still be stood on the penalty spot, his anticipation seems close to zero. On merit he shouldn't be in the side tomorrow, let's see what happens. I've been super critical of Mowbray over the last 12 months, but if he gets these deals over the line today then I think he has definitely earned another go at it, but anything lower than 6th will be a huge failure this season.
  4. Its a good a first 15/16 players we have had at this level for a while if we get these signings over the line today, and on paper we should at least be looking at the top six. However my biggest concern is can Mowbray knit it all together? Having so many options available is dangerous for him as we have seen many times before, he'll mess around with that side for weeks until he settles on something. If he has finally learned, and keeps a mostly settled side and system (I know with the fixtures this year there be have to be the odd rotation) then I'm quietly confident we can do something. If Gallagher starts on the wing tomorrow though I'm afraid we'll be back to square one!
  5. That's exactly how I think the game will pan out. They will probably nick it on a set piece with there new manager bounce, wouldn't surprise me at all in this league.
  6. Interestingly (I thought anyway) sky's website seems to have the next couple of rounds of midweek fixtures listed as live on there red button, something that I thought was paused until fans were allowed back in. Weren't the 7 midweek away games being shown for "free" a huge part of Waggot's selling pitch for the ST? I know not everyone has sky sports, but I reckon the vast majority of ST holders will do.
  7. I thought he started last season well too, until that debacle at Derby that he 'wasn't involved in" and he played like he was on the sauce ever since. Brilliant so far this season though, a 3 man midfield looks to suit him.
  8. Ben Brereton 16 goals?! Sam Gallagher 12 goals?! Always knew that game was unrealistic but jeez.
  9. I really can't understand how your not getting this, when Dack signed his new deal a couple of years ago, he would have agreed to it then. We're not just suddenly making him aware of that clause now. I think with Dack, I agree with the others who say that he's not signing another contract here unless we go up, which isn't going to happen. We just have to hope that he comes back, captures some of his past form and that we can get a decent fee for him in the summer. Well I would hope so, we're playing the best football we have ever played in the clubs history, according to some ?
  10. Strange one Tomlinson, has he had some problems in the past? My only two memories of him are scoring a long ranger In a pre season friendly, and coming on at Peteborough away and playing really well.
  11. Dack isn't playing in a midfield 3, no chance. He'll take on the 3 forward places.
  12. I still cling onto Stoke coming in for Evans before the deadline. Davenport could do with a loan spell somewhere to play some games, I don't think he has started for us yet in over two years has he? That could potentially leave us with midfield options of - Holtby, Rothwell, Johnson, Buckley, Travis & Whiteman for 3 spots.
  13. What's changed though? I remember you clearly saying this time last year (or the year before?) that Whiteman didn't take to Mowbray or Waggott at all and was joining Adkins at Hull because he liked him and had worked for him before. Has Whiteman changed his opinion of them, now that a year on it appears nobody is really breaking down Donnys door to sign him?
  14. That free agent left back, and Whiteman for the midfield would represent a very decent window on paper. Still can't see us stumping up the cash for Whiteman though.
  15. Defending seems to be secondary to being able to ping a 40 yard pass in that position these days.
  16. Sort of player you could see them buying back in 2 or 3 years for £50m or something, if he adapts to the top flight well enough of course.
  17. Seems to be a lot of overthinking for this transfer window, it's not really that confusing. Deals between domestic based clubs and clubs overseas - Deadline 5th October Deals between domestic clubs loan or permanent - Deadline 16th October
  18. I think it will be after the international break in November.
  19. I think, you have to watch the game on the device you buy it on. I have been buying mine on the website through my laptop, then connecting it to my TV. Worked out well so far.
