  1. According to this, when there is a full midweek round of fixtures all games will be available via the red button plus the one shown on the main channel http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11688/11453079/sky-bet-efl-on-sky-sports-follow-championship-league-one-and-league-two-in-201819 possibly when it’s not a full round of fixtures (movement for postponements) then these are available on ifollow?
  2. There is a pretty good cycle network in Derby and one route that runs down the side of the river at the back of Pride Park. All off road from the house, past PP and into the city center. Moving from somewhere with limited facilities for cyclists its pretty impressive. Your memory is correct on the retail estate though.
  3. Went out on my bike after work, cycled passed Pride Park, saw a few fans mingling outside the stadium and wondered what game was on tonight - presumed it wasn't a first team game. I wish I'd known it was our U23's. Shame, I'd have gone there tonight for my footy fix, from reading above it looked like it was an entertaining game.
  4. I think I'll be taking it back for them to look at. It definitely has 3 significant steps up and down the gears, where mine just has 2 and is supposedly the same equipment. I guess its either a setting issue on the mechanism or they have put the wrong part on. Either way they should be able to sort it - hopefully!!
  5. Thanks Paul. We'll need to take it out again to check when its rubbing, my wife only mentioned it once we got back and its then that I noticed the '3 stages'. It could very well be that she is having to push the gears twice to get it to the correct position and then there is the double click to return to the smaller chainring which is where my perceived 3 stage mechanism is coming from. I'll check it out and then if necessary get to a recommended local independant cycle shop to have a look - its a bit far to Ewood Cycles from Mansfield but thanks for the recommendation. Apart from that I'm very pleased with the bikes, we've both got Boardman hybrid comps (Prefer the straight handles to the drop ones), the only downside is we've got matching his and hers bikes now and stand out quite a bit!! First experiance with bikes since buying cheap mountain bikes ages ago but not riden them in years. Thanks again, I'll let you know what the outcome is.
  6. I've just, this weekend, taken the step into cycling. Mainly to get fit but with the ultimate aim of cycling the coast to coast with my wife. I have a quick question though. We went out yesterday for the first time and the chain on my wifes bike is catching and making a bit of a noise. On closer inspection it seams that the mechanism for changing the chain on the large gears (by the pedals) has 3 positions but only 2 cogs resulting in it catching on the mechanism as the chain is never lined up correctly. Is is normal to have 2 cogs but 3 positions? If so I guess its just not been set up correctly, if not someone has dropped on and it will need changing. After weeks of checking bikes out we went for Boardman's which meant we had to go to Halfords so I'm guessing some of the issues lie there! No time at the moment to get it back there so if I can find the issue first it may save me some time. Thanks.
  7. Damian Duff's house on the market if anyone has a spare £2.5 million - and wants to move to the North East. Nice looking pad though if anyone is interested in things like that. The photo of the billiard room gives the owners identity away. My link
  8. Clubs must realise though that they may get a better pay day by the home club reducing prices by a bit which will bring in more supporters. It is a tough call for them to make but I feel dropping prices by say a fiver will bring in more gate revenue.
  9. Home 2 and away 3 for me also. Agree its a bit of a rip off changing the kits every year but the club have stated for the past couple of years that is how it they are going to do it. The first year wasn't so bad as the shirt was only about £20 - so you could understand the marketing and them changing it but now the prices have increased back to the normal £30+ mark and it will soon (if not already) really annoy supporters and stop many people buying any at all. Whats wrong with changing every 2 years like most clubs do. I'm sure the club will make more money as supporters will more likely part with cash if they know it will be worn by the players for 2 years. I may be wrong but I thought there was Premier League regulations that state that home shirts must not change for 2 years at a time.
  10. Don't you just love the way that steward stands there and lets them all past him without even trying to stop it!
  11. Final whistle celebrations on the link. and a bit on the players coming out. All my others seem a bit naff or short to be honest but will try and edit them all together for a bit of a montage!
  12. Just got back myself - echo all the previous comment. Fantastic time but just spoilt by lack of organisation getting to the stadium, to the seats and then back out again. All the stewards had to do at the was to say what was happening but they stayed silent which just wound people up even more. Was great to walk the streets of Amsterdam and see blue and white everywhere, all enjoying a fantastic trip away. Anyway, couple of vids from the night, one from the warm down including the 3 moronic dutch trying to 'have go with us all! - beware bit of bad language at one point. And one from the final whistle 'celebrations' (although struggling to upload the latter.) Will have a couple more when I've managed to have time to go through all the rest. As I say a few more to follow.
  13. Thanks for that - standing up, now there's a novelty. Wonder how the stewards react to that!
  14. Its one thing having the money but its still got to be spent wisely - just look at the likes of Newcastle who seem to spend millions but never get anywhere, I know they've got injury problems but some of the signings they've nade have been big mistakes. British clubs seem to be getting better and better at playing in European comps - all should qualify through their groups in both UEFA and CL. I wouldn't go so far as saying we will dominate Europe again soon but we're getting close. By the way SCF08, do you know how the seat numbers work in the stadium? our tickets just have the block (GG) and a number ie 0490. No row number. Are these actual seats or is it an unreserved area?
  15. Thanks for that, must have missed it somewhere.
  16. I realise this has been asked before but can't seem to find a reply anywhere. It the game covered on TV anywhere. Work has dealt me a blow and won't now let me have the afternoon off to get upto Ewood in time. Channel 5 and ITV have snapped up Newcastle and Spurs but no mention of Rovers anywhere.
  17. I too am staying at the Sofitel in Amsterdam. Thought I would also say hello and introduce myself to one and all. Having just caught up with technology and got myself onto the inter web thingy. Flying out on the Thursday morning from East Midlands - BMI Baby, if anyone else is on that flight I'll see you there.
