  1. What in Ennis’ fitness or scoring record would suggest he’s going to ever get 30 goals a season? He hasn’t scored 30 goals in his whole career.
  2. Brought down not by an expose or tax or court cases or any other financial improprieties but by a few lads marching down Bolton Road - sounds good, I’ll be there.
  3. Probably they will risk assess and plan for it as presumably they’ll have security protocols in place even for a few dozen folk marching down Bolton Road or a banner or two in the ground. But believing that will somehow get us closer to ‘D-Day’ is stretching it just a tad.
  4. Sounds great, but there won’t be any ‘revolt’ as far more fans have the mindset of that ‘Proud Rovers’ statement than that of those down at Reading currently.
  5. Maybe Bilaji would be embarrassed (if he even remembers that football club his family randomly bought 13 years ago) by a protest in front of Deadpool’s team, but the type of fan that will make up the 3/4,000 or so braving a night match in January won’t be unfurling many banners.
  6. In-ger-land roverandout klaxon 🚨
  7. ‘Stop crying like little girls and get with the times’. Snappy slogan that - get in touch with the Head of Consumer, sure he’d love to use it on the next digital day.
  8. We had nearly 20,000 ST holders when they bought the club, in 2021/22 we didn’t even sell 7,000. They didn’t bat an eyelid. So now zero fans turn up , why would these distant people, owners of a unwieldy conglomerate half way round the world give a feck about that? These are not normal owners, ergo normal rules of lost revenue, no longer willing to throw in good money after bad, sick of the grief, shame, embarrassment pushing owners to just cut their losses and piss off don’t apply here as these 13 years of pain have shown. Legal issues aside forcing control from them I still just don’t see them going for a long time. Club’s fucked.
  9. This club will be in non league before the majority wake up. 'Oh, how did that happen?'
  10. Seemed to do well at that level, so makes sense from their point of view.
  11. Going to Indian courts every three months to pay the bills, threatened with winding up orders, loans from dubious 'companies' secured on Brockhall all perfectly normal according to a few on here - nothing to see here.
  12. In serious trouble with who? A few on the Blackburn End, I suppose. Who else?
  13. It’s obviously a difficult one for the Trust. Very unhelpful comments about ‘gratitude’ to the owners for paying the tax bill late after a winding up order threat aside (that was a public comment too, so what is being said behind closed doors?) The Watford game showed that they/the fans can make a difference. They are trying to improve the club in spite of the executives and ownership in many ways as we know they are unfit for purpose. However, they also have a duty to try and ensure we have a thriving club for future generations and a time has to come surely where we just accept that this club cannot prosper under this regime and change has to be demanded - personally I am at that stage, brfcs.com is at the stage, a campaign to get them out? Sign me up today! But unfortunately the wider fanbase isn’t even close to being where I am. Put to one side trying to build relationships with those running the club for a moment, it’s a tough line for The Trust to tread to even keep the fanbase onside as there is no anti-CEO/Venky groundswell from where I’m standing. We are going down the plughole and unfortunately most fans are happy to just stand and watch it happen.
  14. This kind of stuff comes out every time a team is on a bad run. On the flip side we’ve heard plenty over the past 18 months of how the players think he’s the dogs bollocks. Huddersfield, QPR, Stoke at home will let us know one way or another.
  15. Always had a soft spot for Rovers ever since the Kenny days has Henry.
  16. There is seemingly nobody down there that can gauge what a crowd could be for Rovers matches for each type of fixture. Who has the remotest feel for the fanbase down there these days? Though no surprise with Swag and a 23 year old from Bournemouth as ‘Head of Consumer’ who obviously doesn’t have the remotest clue about his consumers.
  17. In the automatic spots as the window opens so they are going for it? Nah, the Venky January 2022 approach was much safer… and look at us now!
  18. 1864 missing the point by a country mile as always. Yes we know an actual winding up order wasn’t placed on Blackburn Rovers. But we also know it was threatened and we do know the owners now have to go to an Indian court every three months in order to fund basic obligations - ergo this threat could be a regular occurrence due to serious cash flow issues. Is this normal? Is this what we want for our football club?
  19. Presumably they’ll do what they did for Forest when they weirdly decided to open it for that tie last season, I.e realise they’ve sold about 9 tickets in there and then announce they are closing it again - and just like Forest it will lead to a load of ‘shit fans us’ posts across social media. They honestly don’t have a clue.
  20. On sale, £15. Christ knows what they’d have been at a Saturday 3pm. Oh and they’ve opened the Riverside?🤷‍♂️ Please don’t tell me they are expecting a big gate for a Monday night TV game in January against a fourth division outfit because it’s Ryan Reynolds’ crew.
  21. What you need to remember is a majority of fans don’t give a toss about CEOs, owners and all the rest of it. Especially when they only really hear about Venky’s when it’s in the LT about another cash injection - so they must be good owners then, no? They keep us alive, I mean look at the empty seats (shit fans), look at Bury. Rest of the time? Manager and team, that’s it. The fact that the CEO and owner may have just a little impact on said team doesn’t come into their head.
  22. But then surely if they are having to go to an Indian court every three months to release funds to pay basic obligations, I.e tax, then this kind of stuff will now become a regular occurrence? Just need to give it up as a bad job as this stage, surely? Unfortunately we have the most stubborn, bizarre people possible as owners.
  23. They do share some programming, but it is a separate entity - it has the ‘4’ licence (in analogue terms) in Wales, Channel 4 has the licence for the rest of the UK - like STV in Scotland does for ‘channel 3’.
