  1. Presumably ‘seat transfers’, though not sure why it is taking a week. But not a single update from the club either… well they are ‘delighted’ with 7,300, so why rush getting them back on sale.
  2. WBA are in a financial hole post parachute payments, they owe money to a load of lenders - can’t see him going there, a sideways move at best.
  3. Gerrard 😁 Bloody hell, have clubs learnt nowt from Lamps? But if a parachute club wants to go down that road I’m all for it!
  4. Tugay at Celtic was some performance, must be the best in a game that ended in defeat.
  5. I would think so, as his daughter is promoting it as his ‘authorised biography’ on Twitter.
  6. Something to do with a Masons handshake before they’d tell us? Sorry no, it was QEGS…
  7. Ambitious when it comes to his own career, as he is making serious coin as CEO at a prestigious football club, coin way over his abilities - the Peter Principle hasn’t kicked in here. But yes, zero ambition for Blackburn Rovers.
  8. Who says he’s evil? He’s just lazy and in his comfort zone due to somehow finding a way of hitting his ‘revenue targets’ even with a two thirds empty ground. Not a surprise he ‘leads’ in this fashion. It all emanates from disinterested and distant ownership.
  9. Complete fabrication that it’s the best sales since the PL , that’s its ‘year on year growth’, as previous FF minutes show. Lying is another thing they are crap at. We’ve sold a pitiful 7,300 STs, there is no sugar coating it, they are quite obviously wrongly priced. And I don’t understand your match pricing point, Norwich and Luton saw big increases in the gate, as did Bournemouth last season. They very much do work, those offers are done to get a big crowd in at crucial points in the run in, not to bring in big revenue. But they are a secondary issue to getting STs right.
  10. 6,995 in 2021/22. Luckily that charge up the table in November/December 2021 led to decent half ST sales to mask it a little as we were just about scraping 9,000 gates for night games before Christmas that season. c10k for a weekend game. If we just about scrape 8k sales by August, I’d imagine a normal Saturday game would see c11k. 🎉
  11. Remember when he tried to put houses on Brockhall? We’d probably be sharing with Blackpool at their training ground by now, players getting changed in Portakabins if he’d had got his way - I’d say he has some brass neck to still show his face after that, but he’s hardly said a word in public since but continues to be rewarded handsomely. Incompetence coupled with arrogance is a dangerous mix and the evidence of that is for all to see as the club withers on the vine. Yet the owners let this farce carry on year in year out (see page 1 of this very thread as proof of that).
  12. You used to like going down to meetings at Ewood, 1864, didn’t you? *All sorts* of commercial improvements were on the way you told us ignorant fools. You don’t mention them much now though… funny that 🤫
  13. I think that’s just letting him leave whilst saving face, he obviously wasn’t going to get the job.
  14. Get that O2G, but to have zero mention at all of ST prices (not the rise, but general pricing), probably the most pressing issue currently is a bit odd, no? But anyway that’s bye the bye, so what was the general jist of said discussion?
  15. You’d think so, but let’s give them a right to reply.
  16. Largely agree, but I’ll wait for K-Hod and O2G’s account of the meeting. But in reality I imagine they won’t have had a united front, as certain members of that forum won’t see these terrible sales as the fault of the club at all, but because we have ‘shit glory hunting fans who only want Prem’
  17. The October 2022 minutes that states the final figure, they were obviously still on sale in July.
  18. We supposedly sold 8,700 full season tickets last summer as per October 2022’s FF minutes. So if 850 haven’t renewed that’s 7,850 that have, thats your starting point before you even get to newbies buying one… yet he comes out with 7,300? Hmm, all very odd - but what we do know is whatever figure he finally agrees on it will certainly have surpassed that seemingly very moveable target of his.
  19. What a group. Like a prefect meeting with the Deputy Head grassing on their fellow pupils…
  20. £2 fee for your ST even in person at the ticket office - so why isn’t there a £2 ticketmaster fee every time you buy a match ticket at the TO then, it’s the same software and seat planner, no?
  21. 8,600 last summer supposedly, but like a good politician the figures he quotes never do seem to marry up…
  22. Like we’ve said, SBlue, he has zero interest in the long term health of the fanbase/getting bums on seats. There’s a revenue target to hit and if selling *around* 8k (I say ‘around’ as I’m not sure we’ll even get to that pathetic figure) then that’s that as far as he’s concerned. Lazy, cynical and totally without passion for this grand old club. So very sad.
  23. I’m seeing very little re ST discussion? Only a single sentence about the phase 2 price rise, not the whole *very large* issue. As an existential issue for the very future of Blackburn Rovers, I presume the discussion was frank and lengthy and it has just not been captured verbatim on the minutes?
  24. ‘Waggott said this was the ‘best response in five years’ and sales in phase one, which ran until May 7, had been above the target of up to 6,500.’ Best response is five years! So definitely 10k by KO then, great stuff.
