  1. So down they go without a whimper then. Be most enjoyable. Like your style, Masher. *Wink*.
  2. *Entry point £430 for any new/returning fans. Up to £530 in the Jack Walker. Dear do to watch this development football lark…
  3. They are going down without a change. There is obviously all manner of issues at that club that won’t be sorted overnight. However, a first team manager change right now could be the one short term measure that does make a difference. Total no brainer at this juncture. Good job you aren’t in charge of a business looking at an enormous drop in revenue whilst in the middle of building eye-wateringly expensive new infrastructure…
  4. Lose 4-0 but the opposition fluked it. Fantastic one eyed view, Exiled 😁
  5. Our problem is we don’t have the budget for ‘quality’ experienced players. *Quality* experienced players can be game changers in a promotion season. 91/92 - Mike Newell, bringing back Colin Hendry, Speedie, Cowans. 2000/01 Hignett, Mark Hughes, Berg, Brad, Berkovic. Modern day BRFC it is usually has beens like Bradley Johnson.
  6. Indeed Joey, outside the parachute clubs there is very little between the whole league - Luton and Millwall a fine example. So yes our players may be ‘bang average’ but so are the rest of the division’s…
  7. To be fair Ayala will only miss the cup tie (which he probably wouldn’t have started anyway).
  8. Two threads with smoke being continually blown up the collective arse of BFC. Too nice and accommodating for its own good this place, a bit like BRFC…
  9. Our next league fixture is in February, so not a million miles from the ‘business end of the season’ and we are currently sitting 4th. But an ITK-er believes that those at Ewood see this season as a ‘write off’. What a very strange football club.
  10. That’s just his personality, you best stop watching if you don’t like the grinning. But generally no manager would go into chapter and verse pre game of the team’s faults. It’s all about platitudes to honour media commitments and to keep the pressure off the players. Pressers mean bugger all.
  11. Is he any different than any other manager in a pre match presser?
  12. And the fanbase has also never recovered from him being kept on in summer 2012, lost nearly half our ST holders in one summer, unheard of anywhere else.
  13. BB was a decent enough Championship player at that stage, but no second tier star, rebuilding his confidence after a tough couple of years, he wouldn’t have signed an improved new deal at that juncture? I say he would if it was on the table, the mood music of the time was nothing was on said table.
  14. Don’t disagree generally, but BB (without the D) had not outgrown us in late 2020, first half of 2021, just like SG hadn’t last season.
  15. ‘We DoNt wAnT ThAt DiNGLe BasTArD HeRE!’
  16. To be fair, our roverandout does like to oscillate minute by minute on all manner of topics.
  17. Because their fans ‘have every right’, they ‘deserve better’. Whereas we were that town club that wouldn’t piss off from the elite, we should have been grateful to even share a pitch with the likes of Everton, so what were we moaning for?
  18. I can’t see any argument for him not being re-signed in late 2020, first half of 2021. But he wasn’t, so a £7million signing, a fortune for us, a star of the division, will leave for nowt, along with a load of other senior pros over the last 12 months. It is what it is, but it must now change (and hopefully it will with GB), as the club can’t carry on hiding behind ‘FFP’ with a straight face with half the team walking out the door for feck all.
  19. Thought he came here on relatively low wages, the famous ‘flex’? (The buzz word of brfcs before ‘ROI’ and ‘trading club’).
  20. Then they have a very strange understanding of the game. Or you should take daft posts on social media with a pinch of salt. Give you a good game, certainly. But plenty of people expected them to beat the runaway leaders, at their ground (where they are unbeaten all season) who have two defeats in 27 games? Come on Longers, the ‘little owd Burnley ‘ routine is wearing a bit thin now.
  21. He would in all likelihood have signed if it was on the table earlier - just like SG did last season. Once he became Diaz, Chile superstar and Championship top scorer, of course he was never going to sign. But that isn’t the issue.
  22. Yeah yeah. You were expected to get beat last night? By who? You are a country mile ahead of 3rd and below. You aren’t going to ‘expect’ to be beaten at home by any of them.
