If folk like Parson don’t renew, then the numbers will be a train wreck. Waggott simply does not understand the fanbase, at all. But at least there will be a few dozen Sodexho meals sold in the Premier Suite...

Easier to ‘monetise’ or whatever other BS terminology he’s learnt on his MBA this month...

No JW Upper (corporates aside)? If we thought shutting the Blackburn End Upper and DE caused a stink - the JW Upper has thousands of long standing ST holders, with months out of the ground, folk getting out of the habit, plenty of them older supporters, now having to move seats, rightly or wrongly I imagine plenty will take a look at their options in the JW lower or Riverside - and think ‘nah!’

‘Shocking fanbase’ ’Venky’s trying to put it right’ Divide and conquer was never so easy...

The Twitter Screen Grabber (formerly of this parish), and Paul Agnew’s publication, from memory.

Sharing a league with our perennial local rivals, Oldham and Man City. Two clubs that have gone in totally different directions... and we are back to where we started (well without the play off bit).
-
Shoot! as a kid, especially for their league ladders pull out you’d stick to your wall. Didn’t miss a Four Four Two for years, but as I’ve got older I seem to care less about the actual sport on the pitch, but the wider game - support, finance, fan culture etc, so WSC is now my go to.
-
So why is it ok for you to talk about other club’s transfer policies, but not ok for JH to talk about other club’s ticketing policies?
-
‘Is there a day when you don’t have a dig at the club’ to a fella who lives and breathes Rovers and hasn’t missed a game home or away in years. Supporting the club is about wanting the best for Blackburn Rovers, it doesn’t mean blowing smoke up the club’s arse on a daily basis... well doesn’t for most fans

Fairly sure in the first set of accounts that covered that period there was a reference to a £5million payment, so corresponding with a down payment - from memory there was a collective feeling of resignation on here, that yes, we really will be spending in the region of £7million.
-
How much then? Thought we’d made a down payment of £5/5.2 million with more instalments to come? Even if it was just the £5million-ish with the rest incentive based, that’s not ‘nowhere near’ and still a hell of a poor deal.

What’s the difference between clarity and full clarity, chaddy?

Now seems to have redeemed himself from ‘shite hole’ status... https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/danny-graham-signed.1527437/

You are talking perfectly rationally there J*B but football doesn’t work that way. Managers would be hounded out of a job even though fans are the first to say ‘just play the kids, even if we lose a few games’, ‘better than all these journeyman’ ‘at least they play for the shirt’ etc etc . 21st in the league and that’s all soon forgotten - see Woodgate. Football fans are nothing if not bipolar and raging hypocrites.

Thought we weren’t going to panic this year?

Think some folk still think it’s 1996 when ‘The Entertainers’ ( ? ) were actually relevant...

Championship Season 2020 - 2021
Mattyblue replied to Hoochie Bloochie Mama's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
You are quite right chadster, thats definitely not something that happens here. -
So what would be a ‘proper chance’? 5, 10 games? It’s his third season, we need to see him making a contribution to the side, because the team and results must come first.
-
Is the Nations League worth the bother, really? Do fans actually care? I can just about summon up the enthusiasm for major tournaments, never mind this convoluted competition. Just play qualifiers, friendlies/Le Tournoi style mini tournaments in the build up to Euros/World Cups and leave it at that.
-
Wilson, so hopefully King, Brooks to follow? I’ll be following their forum’s transfer thread this week instead... least there’ll be some actual movement!
-
Who on earth at the club has come up with the ridiculous notion that you only ever wear our fantastic, unique halved home shirt at Ewood, whilst when it’s time to go th’Asda you’d be straight into your wardrobe for whatever that year’s throwaway away shirt is?
-
‘Good workout on an amazing pitch and amazing stadium’. Glad of your support in the brfcs campaign to highlight the shit tip that is Ewood, Tone!

Pretty much every club in the Championship had some blue or white on their kit last season. Did Rovers used to wear the away kits 20 times a season? Of course not. However, Rovers and most other clubs maximise away kit use these days - I.e you’ll see a team with a red home kit wearing their say, black away shirt at a club wearing blue. Honestly Chaddy ?♂️ I’m stopping now as it’s too daft for words this conversation.
-
It’s not because of clashes, it’s to boost revenue by wearing away shirts as often as possible. We’ve been wearing blue and white at Stoke for a hundred years! The naivety hurts my head
