  1. The LT comments section is like brfcs through the looking glass... https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17529927.rovers-fans-jury-assess-the-clubs-latest-accounts/
  2. Him and Zurab regulars at San Carlo. Obviously just supping the San Pellegrinos.
  3. Pedersen was out in Manchester almost daily from what I’d heard.
  4. I was just generally musing on these odd times we live in
  5. Of course they should have a private life, but you give that up if you post your life on Instagram, no?
  6. Didn’t know they asked for your membership card on the way in?
  7. BBC getting their info from brfcs too? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47691385
  8. Yep. He likes buying attaking players but won’t play them because they ‘don’t help the defensive side’ Yet, won’t bring in an actual centre half, relying on converted centre mids and usually has at least one midfielder at full back as well. Crackers.
  9. Remember when the qualifiers used to be an event in themselves? When was the last time we lost one?
  10. They’ve got West Brom, Leeds and Sheff Utd in their next 3 games. Could be in big trouble by Easter.
  11. Does still happen, Mel Morris at Derby has only owned them 3 years, but he’s obviously releasing how you just lose money hand over fist in this league.
  12. Promotion aside, the ‘human beings’, ‘soldiers and artists’, ‘bovril’, ‘jumpers for goalposts’ stuff goes a long way with a lot of fans. Any other manager we’ve had post Hughes would be getting pelters. I mean look at the shit a top manager like Sam got. He is still mostly backed to the hilt online (well, not here!) and the games from what I can see.
  13. ‘It’s hard to find many positives’. Disgraceful. Shocking stuff to put online. What if any of ‘the lads’ read it?
  14. Let’s see how things turn out at Wigan first...
  15. Own up, who’s Paul Yates on here?
  16. Full breakdown here: https://mobile.twitter.com/kieranmaguire?lang=en
  17. Price of Football on Twitter has been looking through Rovers’ accounts. We owe Venky’s a bizillon quid. Player wages down. Director pay up. How Animal Farm! We spent net £7.6 million on transfers this season.
  18. In today’s LT, in the article crouching has posted.
  19. ‘Jack is naturally a midfielder, but is at the back for us, due to his height.’ Thought Rodwell was brought in to be a defender as that is how Mowbray now saw him, with presumably some defensive qualities? That quote sounds like he’s sill a midfielder chucked back there in an emergency because he’s tall. Some very odd comments emanating from the manager.
  20. Where does Sharpe get his ideas from? ? https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17510989.the-contract-decisions-facing-rovers-this-summer/
  21. We often have had bang average number 2s, but a clutch of top class number 1s made it less of an issue. Now we don’t even have the 1. Its pretty simple to me. 10 years ago, a promising young keeper like Raya would have been loaned out to the lower leagues, making these mistakes on someone else’s watch. However, we are now said lower league club, so we get to see these young lads warts and all. If the club wants to be more than just a second division also ran (at best), more experience is needed in all positions.
  22. You would think so. Look at us.
  23. Better than Dack, said so himself.
  24. Hughes lasted five years at Stoke, 2013 to 2018. Three 9th placed finishes and then 13th. Went awry in his last season, but then many managers do have a shelf-life. Unfairly maligned in my opinion.
