  1. Plenty of time for Liverpool to slip up. 6-0 win today please.
  2. Bit like seeing three ex Rovers season ticket holders on my Facebook ‘checking in’ at Barnsley yesterday.
  3. A lot of clamour on here for his removal, but as I predicted this morning, there is not even the slightest murmurings against him at Ewood - feel free to correct me, but I’ve heard nothing. He still has a hell of a lot of good will at home games and that’s not something I see dissipating this season (cataclysmic relegation aside).
  4. Course not. The aim for them will be to get their season ticket base up again in the summer after it was down to the hundreds during the boycott.
  5. No course they don’t. Weird obsession of you lot.
  6. 14,000 home tickets sold, most we’ve had this season. Plus, a full Darwen End, so Waggott will see it as a job well done.
  7. 12,500 home fans would be my guess, plus 7,500. So 20,000.
  8. Club’s are extremely sensitive on issues of diversity. I’d be amazed if it was the club on the ground that was pushing for it. If it happens it would have to be a diktat from Pune.
  9. Late 90s Rovers players, my Mastemind subject
  10. He might start to get a few grumbles, but I don’t think he’s anywhere near losing the home support. Lets hope we don’t need to test that theory today!
  11. Big club in a small town as John Williams used to put it. We should always be proud of the heritage and prestige of this football club. Something the club itself needs to take more pride in, I believe.
  12. Niklas Gudmundsson. Come on give us a tough one!
  13. Just saw a tweet from our Blue Eyed friend about hearing a rumour about the women’s team being scrapped. I heard something similar at Birmingham t’other week. Something about not wanting to pay the additional costs that having a Championship team would entail...
  14. Good to see that they’ve explained the ‘plastics’ tag now. Its because there were Rovers fans ‘south of the Ribble’ in the 90s Only flaw with that is that there has been a substantial support for Rovers in places like Bamber Bridge, Leyland, Chorley etc going back many decades, way before the 90s- as a few of our ‘mature’ posters on here can testify to.
  15. *7500. ’Couldn’t sell all your tickets’ Though there will be loads of them in the Jack Walker too apparently, so maybe there’s 10,000 of them coming, their entire home crowd.
  16. Yeah the only thing it was missing was perhaps a bit more on the play off defeats 88 to 90, how did he manage to get the team back up for the new season etc. Minor quibbles though. Proper football man.
  17. Looking at Stanley’s fixtures they have a tough run in, think they’ll get the 50 points though.
  18. The proof will be in the performances until May. You are right, the manager carries the can, so he was extremely foolish giving bang average players new deals and generally automatic starting positions. Lets hope he finds some ruthlessness in the summer or we’ll be back to League 1 in 2020.
  19. He’s gone from never blaming the players publicly to slamming them in every interview. Obviously feeling the pressure...
  20. £71 for 6 games anywhere in the ground? For a club just outside the play offs too. How about paying double that in the Jack Walker for our Super 6 dead rubbers?
  21. Aye. Don’t know if I should thank or punch me dad for getting me involved with the Rovers.
