Me neither, I always thought the ‘no nay never’ chant was a bit quaint back then talking about some lower league manager in ‘Jimmy Mullen’. Yes, they were our local rivals, of course they were. It’s a geography thing, if you are a Rovers fan from south Ribble you are going to care much more about PNE than a Rover from Accy.
