  1. Yep, a lot of fans aren’t interested in the off field stuff in isolation, it’s only when what they see on the pitch is suffering as a result is when they wake up, it’s why Ewood protests/chants etc in any decent number happen spontaneously (obviously plenty of others think you should just ‘get behind ‘em FFS).
  2. I’ve been a member since day dot and I fully appreciate the balancing act. Indeed I think the marketing prospectus put together last year was excellent as was the Watford game. However, those are initiatives for gentler times, for a club that is listing a bit and just needs a push in the right direction, the ‘critical friend’. Yet as we sit here in July 2024 surely this club has gone beyond that, we look to be at the precipice of a collapse down the divisions, indeed if we can continue to trade at all - so where does the WATR board draw the line with tinkering at the edges and a campaign more akin to SOS can begin?
  3. Comp ticket for the posh seats in hand, the life of the corporate grifter.
  4. End of the day is there a massive clamour out there for them to sell? Not that I’ve seen. Most fans seem content enough to plod on indefinitely with these owners, so it’s no surprise that J*B held a minority view at the AGM, as his view is a standard brfcs one, and as we know this place is definitely out of step with the majority of the fanbase
  5. I think what was the Jack’s Kitchen offering is now going in the Premier Suite, I.e one course buffet, and the ‘new’ Jack’s Kitchen, I.e pie and peas is going to be there. Lowest common denominator stuff as always.
  6. No worries! What I do think is odd on the corporate side for next season is they’ve moved what was a real good offering in the Premier Suite, with a cracking upper central JW seat for the game, into the Blackburn End where you’ll spend the game behind glass (and obviously behind the goal), so a fair bit of a downgrade from where I’m looking.
  7. Always have done. Slightly different offering it when it’s a few dozen people that will buy over decimating numbers for less attractive games with your pool of 9/10,000.
  8. Glad to hear it, so a little odd you didn’t post that instead of dismissing the poster’s ‘news’?
  9. So the club once again had fecked up ticketing or at least comms around ticketing and now has had to retract. Maybe the WATR Chair shouldn’t be as quick to dismiss concerns of fans (who are presumably often members too) when such things are raised.
  10. Send Swag a picture, no issues exist unless he’s sees it in photographic form. Which I suppose is fair enough when your only view of Ewood is from the corporate lounge.
  11. Blackburn End lower, Riverside and JW without the corporate seats and the netted off end block in the lower makes up the 18,189, which is fair enough as there’s certainly no point opening up more stands when we just about scrape 9,000 ST sales.
  12. 🤦‍♂️ You can’t ‘create your own luck’, it’s just a turn of phrase for a team that has played well/worked hard.
  13. They haven’t played well but are in the semis. Why? Well to go *some way* to explain it, it’s helped that they’ve got lucky with the draw. But it’s only helped, of course you still have to beat the sides in front of you, just like if Rovers ended up in a cup semi final on the back of avoiding the big sides, nowt wrong with that, that’s cup/tournament football for you - it’s not a league where luck absolutely doesn’t play a role after 38/46 matches, you end up exactly where you deserve. I’m not belittling at all, as football is a results business, just like I wouldn’t give a monkeys if we ended up at Wembley after only beating lower league sides. Odd that some on here resolutely won’t accept England have been fortunate, at all. Like DE said I don’t know why this has ended up being a debate really, but I suppose this is brfcs 😅
  14. ‘Making your own luck’ is just a cliche. What’s wrong with saying they had a slice of fortune with the draw, that’s football. Just like if would be if Rovers were in a similar cup situation, you can only beat what’s put in front of you.
  15. Confusing me with someone else, I’m delighted they’ve had a lucky route through.
  16. Amazing how many folk don’t understand what I thought were simple concepts like chance, fortune etc.
  17. So you aren’t actually bigging up Vale for a starting spot, fair enough.
  18. How is that remotely comparable to the Sammie situation, he was a totally different player to Dack. The lad has had plenty of opportunity, he just ain’t up to this level and will turn 24 during the season.
  19. I’ve still never seen an explanation as to why those fantastic history timeline murals were removed.
  20. Yep, sounds like BS to me. All a narrative spun to justify the plethora of Head Ofs under the thumb of the Swag/Suhail axis.
  21. Sticker books, pieces of paper, what will the social media team be working on for this summer? Players being fished out of the reject bin a la Raggy Dolls?
  22. Roverandout reckoning other folk are being negative about England 😅
  23. Yep, £48 for an infant shirt. https://www.roverstore.co.uk/kit/2425-home-kit/infant/3598_blackburn-rovers-macron-home-kit-202425-infant.html
  24. In the Venky era, I suppose. It’s our small time version of top flight records only starting in 1992.
  25. Always loved the Kappa ones myself.
