  1. The next Fans Forum is in July and no doubt he’ll be crowing again saying we are in for “*our best figures ever since time began* (time starting, of course, in 2012 as Rovers have always been like this, and Oceania has always been at war with East Asia). And he “wants to put on record our thanks to the owners for allowing this fantastic offer” (an offer that still has us an average £100 dearer than Bolton). Then in September’s FF he we state we have actually sold an amount in the standard range again between about 8k and 9.5k.
  2. There are no pre-ordained ‘levels’ it’s why pretty much half the PL last season was the likes of Brentford and Bournemouth and clubs like Leeds, Sheff Wed are still in the second division.
  3. No he’s miles off. 9,300 ST holders last season, between 2k (night game) and 3/4k (for a Saturday) walk-ons. For decades now this club has seen ST holders make up the vast majority of the crowd and that won’t change, so yes, as you say ST sales are vitally important.
  4. Doogs out of cold storage for the summer ST thread, welcome back!
  5. All pretty meaningless tallies until after phase 1 and the claim your own seat deadline as the seat map opens up. Crank up the @goozburger bat signal.
  6. Pretty bang on there, Matt 😅 https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24324375.blackburn-reveal-pre-season-details-friendlies-confirmed/
  7. Kompany himself (I’d say Alan Pace but he’s teetotal) must be a regular at his Ribble Valley soirées.
  8. Do I want them to fall down the leagues? Yes. Do I want to see their fans skriking as a result as we clamber back on to our east Lancs perch? Yes. But do I give a shit about some journeyman who played a game there in 2016 on loan? No.
  9. Likes of Trippier, yeah go for it. Some of the others it’s all a bit lame.
  10. If you say so, booing a bloke relentlessly for 90 minutes because he played down the road on loan for about 5 games a decade ago is all a bit small time to me… just like they always used to be.
  11. Made me laugh that one high profile poster wouldn’t even have a certain manager here because a top professional head coach from, err, Kettering is a ‘Dingle bastard’.
  12. I’m afraid the days of ‘I watched a game one week at Ewood, the following at Turf’ have long gone. NO1 with their seeming encyclopaedic knowledge of players will boo someone if they even drove past Burnley once on the M65.
  13. Thought Norwich and Watford no longer have parachutes?
  14. My apologies, I’ll edit ASAP
  15. Part timer. People should’ve been supporting their team and manager at Ewood Park.
  16. Obviously it primarily aided Liverpool as the rest of our side was largely shite that year, so we may as well have not bothered bringing him in. But if you actually have aspirations to achieve something, then a top quality loan who is better than what you have can be the difference to push you over the top that season.
  17. Lighten up, it’s Sunday morning. 😅 I wasn’t actually saying you should have received a certificate. Though I’d have given ‘The Chadster, Blackburn End row 7, saw every match, even when Swag wouldn’t let him sit in his seat for the cup game’ a big cheer.
  18. I meant last season! At least we won plenty in L1, as embarrassing as it was to be down there.
  19. Anybody who saw every game of that torturous Ewood campaign should’ve been brought on the pitch and given a certificate like 100% attenders in school assembly. Luckily I was away a fair bit and missed three or four (didn’t miss a win though obviously).
  20. Cheers. Another question. With the ‘coffin ceremony’ etc going back decades, I always thought that there’s a decent amount of Rovers fans in Brig, ok, not as many as PNE, but a decent few. Take it that isn’t the case, but was there historically?
  21. Something I’ve wondered about non league fans, especially once you get to Northern Premier level and below. Are any purely Brig fans, or Clitheroe etc or are most fans of the local football league club too (or Liverpool, Man Utd etc)
  22. Oh god, you’ve asked for the full itinerary now 😅
