  1. Two Blackburns when it comes to the FA Cup. Proper football town.
  2. There is, and AW is right up there with them after just a dozen PL games - some player.
  3. There will be a lot of skriking kids across the country though whose weak parents have let them support City over their own club.
  4. Match day tickets possibly, but STs are very affordable at a lot of clubs.
  5. It really is outrageous to say to long standing fans, often elderly ones ‘give us an extra tenner’. Like those airport guards in Turkey or wherever with their palms out. The brass neck of it.
  6. Thanks for reminding me of those players, completely forgotten them like 99% of them since 2012.
  7. So you just knew it? Even more impressive 👏 👏
  8. Was he not supposed to show coaching and man management skills at Birmingham?
  9. Modern football 🤦‍♂️ Sure the data geeks at Bayern have made it clear that some Dingle outperformed his X-assists last season or something.
  10. Top notch transfermarkt.com-ing there Chadster 👏
  11. Yep, the summer of 21/22 was the killer. Most clubs realised they needed to offer something enticing to get fans back after 18 months with them out the grounds, so we saw freezes and cuts across the game… here? A rise ‘oh and we’ll keep your unused ST money too’. Result? Lowest ST sales in 30 years at 6,995 and it’s been a bloody slog trying to claw it back ever since.
  12. Sounds great, no more 7k away ends!
  13. ‘Screened live in Norway’ (as full of plastic Scousers, Scandì style), so Ewood was all Norwegian advertising… which made a change from Tommy Balls and Matthew Brown 😅
  14. You’re right they don’t. We have bounced between a pitiful 7k and a stil poor 9.5k+ STs for a decade, that’s the range. We all clutch our pearls every summer but in reality we’ll be in that range at the end of it. Going up or down a few hundred season to season means little in the grand scheme of things. In reality what I think will happen, is a fair few existing ST holders will drop off due to another shambolic season, seeing one Saturday home win after October and now the Sky factor but that will largely be offset by a few newbies thinking it’s a decent enough price. The ‘churn’. Treading water, just like the rest of the club
  15. Great news, so we’ll be back up to Bowyer era season ticket sales of 10/11k next season.
  16. But also L2 clubs get very little in the way of TV money, so gate receipts are much more important.
  17. Not sure that answered my question, but ok
  18. If you have an issue with the club’s approach to less tech savvy fans you are ‘whinging’?
  19. What’s ‘negative’ about wanting the club to do better?
  20. How do you know ‘the squad’ at Plymouth like playing out from the back? JDT had our squad of deadlegs on the cusp of the play offs playing that way, but they couldn’t wait for a new manager to scrap it once he left.
  21. Yep, it’s a sticking plaster. Probably enough of a reduction to prevent a collapse in sales, but certainly not enough to be enticing enough to lead to any great spike in sales.
  22. It’s ’Wee Dougie’ on here, if you don’t mind!
  23. It’s because the club is now ‘digital’ and ‘sustainable’, of course.
  24. Yep, £2 ‘surcharge’.
