You know what has struck me about the celebrations and all the hype around the players coming back? To my knowledge, nobody has spoken out against the regime. You listen to the interviews, all the warm words, but nobody hammering the owners. Is it more important to have a few free tickets a season, than to protect this club and its fans? So disappointing, an opportunity missed.

I’ve just watched American Godfathers - The five families, on Sky History. I think it’s based on Selwyn Raabs book - The Five Families - Which for me is the best book on American organised crime I’ve read. I've been listening to some of the build up to tonights Sunderland v Everton game, where Sunderland can go 2nd in Premiership with a win. Its really puts me in mind of our first season back in the Premier League 1992. We made a very good start to 1992 season, I watched us beat Arsenal away on Saturday at Highbury, can you imagine the feeling, it was surreal!
