  1. As Ruggles said above, the distain for Cantwell at times was bonkers last night, what are these people expecting? He's the only bit of quality in that side, but he isn't Messi!
  2. Two poor sides last night with academy players propping them both up. Bannan and Cantwell the only quality on the pitch and they struggle with the dross around them. Most frustrating aspect for me was playing the short ball at set pieces, why fill the box full of players if you’re going to play it short ball then surrender it the opposition? Plus point and I only saw 1, our defence seemed solid, ok its against a Wednesday side playing an academy lad up front, but still, we look solid and assured. VENKYS OUT – NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
  3. https://theshuttle.org.uk/take-a-tour-of-world-class-street-art/ Great this, on the boulevard:
  4. Never invade the pitch in Gazelles, its like running on glass, my legs were going like the clappers, but I wasn't moving 🤣 13yrs ago that, I'd not make it over the fence these days 🫣 Kean Out!
  5. If you see some fat bloke slumped in his seat, covered in pizza and pig, wake him up please….
  6. Only on one side in town 🤣 Pizza has arrived…..Jesus, they’re going to kill us with food……
  7. Just boshed a hot pork sandwich, stuffing and crackling - A Sheffield institution, marvellous.
  8. So it starts, Old Horns Pub Bradfield, great views in summer if you’re passing. Messy from here on in.
  9. Just seen on twitter only 1400 sold before this batch went on sale.
  10. When you're not producing the best players in the world and haven't done for a very long time, you have to try something different to win test matches, or you ultimately get the same result. We need a change at grass roots level, a change to the county game, I agree with that, but we still need to win test matches. Now the bazball approach has failed in Oz, I’m hoping for something in between moving forward, we have the players who can adapt to both forms of the game, lets find that middle ground as we push towards a 2027 Ashes win in UK.
  11. Not that it makes much difference, but I’d wager this wouldn’t have happened if Waggott was still here.
  12. Carse was very good in Melbourne, he’s played all 4 tests and the lad makes things happen. He has a knack of getting rid of Australia’s top order, not a bad knack to have in my book. His biggest strength right now? He’s fit and raring to go, as injuries hit us hard.
  13. Yep. When the owners pay the bills every year to just about keep the lights on, the fans are nothing more than a distraction, a boil on the arse of the club, the owners don't need us, simple as that.
  14. So Hearts are top, you think Celtic are threatening and Rangers are not that far behind? Thats 3 teams isn’t it?
  15. Just driven past Hillsborough, couldn’t see any tickets floating around sadly, but you can buy them in the home end. Just chatting to a Wednesday fan, his response: ‘It’s like they’re trying to piss the fans off’………Couldn't agree more. @K-Hod - If you are still involved, would you raise it please at the next forum? It would be interesting to get the clubs take on this.
  16. Name the player stood in front of a packed Riverside.
  17. I’ve just watched one of the games of the season, the Edinburgh derby which Hibs finally won 3-2 against Hearts. Who says this league only has 2 teams.
  18. I know we have more pressing issues than selling tickets for Sheffield Wednesday away, but it would be good if someone from Fans Forum could pick this up, or another supporters representative and ask why this ludicrous decision was made.

  20. The fact this was our first win in Australia since 2014 is little reward in a test that was frankly a farce. But it does point towards how bad things we were before the current regime took over. I've got several mates who have flown out for day 3, I don't know whether to laugh or cry, all that money and the tests over......Cricket Australia have some answers to come up with, 94,000 sell out on day 3 and that money will be returned, some heads may roll for that one.
  21. Well, after yesterdays unplayable wicket it’s anyone’s test match this. Come on England.
  22. I noticed Hull sold the entire away end out today, top and bottom tiers.
  23. I seem to recall the last time we played in Melbourne it was much the same? We were bowled out for around 70 and lost the test in 3 days. Its clearly not a wicket that should be anywhere near a test match.
