Supporting the club unconditionally should never be seen as a negative den.

I really don’t think calling posters Venkys apologists is helpful. Once upon a time it was seen as a strength to support the club, whatever the situation and many still do adopt that approach and who are we to criticise them for it? The fans can’t influence the current situation, certainly 1 fan can’t, so supporting the club unconditionally, for some, is all they can do and they shouldn’t be lambasted for it in my opinion.

What could have been, the story goes that Bordeaux wanted to sell Zidane and Duggary as a pair and Zidane had his heart set on Turin, no idea why 🤣 So we ended up buying neither…

I don't recall Bowyer getting us promoted, but we did sign some useful players to go along side Rhodes 20+ goals that season, so that was a 'bust'. In the promotion season I don't recall who we signed, but nevertheless, the success rate in January is pretty thin on the ground and if the summer is anything to go by, we are more likely to sell rather than strengthen. I fall to see where the optimism is coming from chaddy, but I know we all hope your are right.

Yet we are 20th and potentially going down chaddy. You, like every Rovers fan, must be worried, especially with our ability to recruit. The season gets tougher every Christmas when injuries hit and pitches get heavy, this season is no different and I can’t see a way out right now. One stroke of luck we have had though, is Sheff Weds points deduction, as that means they take up 1 spot, only 2 more are available, thankfully.

We are 20th because of the owners, the cheap people they employ and the distain they hold the club and the town in. Players come and go, seasons come and go, but Jesus wept, we need rid of this owners and sharpish.

Cantwell is a quality player surrounded by absolute dross. So much so, he’s trying to do far too much on his own to make things happen and it’s not working for him, the manager should be in his ear. This squad has far more pressing issues than Cantwell, we are lucky to have him.

It should say VENKYS OUT, but at least it’s some form of protest, good effort.

I’ve just watched a superb Jools Holland NY show, I’ve not watched him for a while, but I really enjoyed tonight’s. The Mrs has now switched it off and is watching the final drop of Stranger Things which apparently is a world wide phenomenon. 2minutes in, it looks like Aliens the movie, I’m off to bed. The Scottish league title chase just got interesting.

I saw Josh Warrington the boxer in York on Sunday, he was with his family, I’d have liked a chat, wish him well for his next fight, but I didn’t want to disturb him either. Dolan was quality at our level, inconsistent of course, but quality and many comments on this thread don’t age well.

The lads go plenty about him, I agree. He’s been thrown in at the deep end instead of being slowly introduced, but he’s a player, that’s clear to see.

As Ruggles said above, the distain for Cantwell at times was bonkers last night, what are these people expecting? He's the only bit of quality in that side, but he isn't Messi!

Two poor sides last night with academy players propping them both up. Bannan and Cantwell the only quality on the pitch and they struggle with the dross around them. Most frustrating aspect for me was playing the short ball at set pieces, why fill the box full of players if you’re going to play it short ball then surrender it the opposition? Plus point and I only saw 1, our defence seemed solid, ok its against a Wednesday side playing an academy lad up front, but still, we look solid and assured. VENKYS OUT – NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
