Did you actually see King play? He was useless until the cameras turned up against Stoke and Swansea, he also refused to play when Bowyer picked him, threw his dummy out, sulked, good riddance. As for Rhodes, Mr Goals, best scoring record since Shearer, that says it all.

I was picking my parents up from Manchester airport that night, listened to most of the 2nd half on the car park at T1. Funny what you remember that are linked to certain games. I was at the Oxford game above, I think that’s my flag on the fence, still got it somewhere.

A few of us have been arguing for a while that Mowbray needed 10 games of the new season to galvanise the current squad and see if can squeeze a bit more out, the majority on here wanted him sacked. It’s very early days, I don’t think we have the squad to go up, we’re 2/3 players short, but that’s not Mowbray fault, he can only wee with the willy he’s got. Great start to the season Tony, long may it continue

For any Dylan fans out there he's revived his Theme Time Radio hour show for one episode, to mostly promote his Whiskey brand, but nevertheless its a great listen, as are all the shows themselves which are online for free and aired in late 2000's. New episode - Whiskey Original series

It was one of those albums we'd lost for years, pulled it back a month or two ago, glad we did

Its a weird one Coldplay, hated them when they first appeared on the scene, Mrs loved them, now she can't stand them and I quite like some of the older stuff. Got fond memories of driving around Wales just after the banking crisis listening to Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends - Decided to got to Wales to save money, spent over £2k, it rained every day, should have gone to Greece. I must admit that every time I hear Yellow or The Scientist it stops me in my tracks, great tracks in my opinion and everyone I know thats seen them live says they're exceptional. Talented chap ojf. Got an album for you both, from 90's - Proud Mary - Same old Blues - Great listen if you haven't heard it already, they should have gone on to bigger and better things.

Not sure about anyone else, but one positive from lock down and home working is our music platforms have been a constant companion, listened to all sort of stuff that I wouldn't normally have time for with some surprising outcomes. I read an interview recently where Noel Gallagher, who has always slated The Beach Boys, was telling the interviewer he got the Beach Boys all wrong and is now waxing lyrical about the band and the music because of lock down. I have had a similar epiphany, with Mark Knopfler of all people, I hated Dire Straights, mainly because of 'Money for nothing' which was played endlessly, so never had a desire to revisit his music. what a mistake. All The Road running, a collaboration with Emmylou Harris is superb, Sailing to Philadelphia with James Tayor another quality album, Down the Road Wherever his latest offering. I Watched an interview with Mark on Sky Arts with Brian Johnson of ACDC fame, such a humble man, clearly hates the attention, never lost his root or his values. Strange things can happen during lock down, people beware!

No falling asleep or missing overs Asia, focus!

The Last Waltz was the last time they ever played together, tremendous, probably the best live recording of a concert ever, everyone played, Dillon, Young, Mitchel, Dr John, Ronnie Hawkins, Neil Diamond, Mavis Staples, the list goes on and directed by Scorsese: https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0077838/

I’ve just watched ‘Once we were brothers’ a documentary about The Band by Robbie Robertson. Anyone who loves music will know about The Band, from Bob Dylan’s backing band to The Last Waltz, genius. A must for all music fans. Watch The Last Waltz if you can’t watch the documentary.

Tell you what gumboots they made heavy weather of it! Looked for a while like they’d lose out, they had little continuity to the play, but they came through in the end as Harlequins tired

I disagree on IPL, its a great tournament, superb spectacle with the best players in the world all coming together, absolutely love it. But I do agree on Sky declining and not just on cricket. They could do a lot more with the cricket, show more games across all formats, but they don't seem interested. The NBA was never off the Tv until it went into the playoffs, then matches were few and far between, same with rugby league home and NRL, sporadic at best, really poor.

You missed the opening over on Weds and went to bed last night Come on Asia

Good game so far. No doubt about it, Old Trafford wins the best music in between overs award, just superb: The Doves Charlatans. Oasis, James, Buzzcocks, Northside, The Smiths, Happy Monday’s, Mock Turtles.

Lets hope that makes for a Lancashire win tonight o2g Whilst wishing them a speedy recovery of course.

Morgan was clearly trying to tempt them to hit to the short side, looking for a top edge, it had worked earlier, but was a massive gamble that failed. Archer was poor all day, he looked uninterested at times, needs more consistency which will come, we forget he's only a young lad. Tough one to take that, still angry.,..

I'm around 30 miles East of Old Trafford which is bathed in sunshine, here its grey cloud, no chance of blue sky here today! England to bat first.

Looking forward to the decider against the Aussies today, definitely a day to win the toss and bowl first for me, overcast conditions.
