I would say that the squad has been improved compare to what was here when he took over. Cos it was mess when he took over. The way I look at it is any new managerial appointment has a chance straight way to bring in his own players for those positions we need signings for. The club has recruitment department now and any managerial appointment will have help in that department. Yes I have massive rethink on Mowbray's future here and I do think it need a clean break even if we got promote. Rovers need to move on and appoint a new structure and ideas going forward. who says it was rumour. Several posters posted similar info on here. Posters who wouldn't posted gossip but would only post if they trusted their info was correct. Surely before sacking Mowbray you would want his replacement line up and ready to come in. That's would be quite normal for a football club to do imo and what I would do if I was owner of BRFC.

I think if you look at his comments post match to Reading away game in March 2021, he sounded like he knew his time was over at the club after that game. Not really hard to follow tbh. I posted a very lengthy post after the Barnsley away game last season on 17th February saying why a change of manager was needed and how we could go about it. I think Mowbray will leave the club after the last game of the season Fair enough and someone I have suggested in the past. He would be on my shortlist if we want a manager appointment and not go down the Director of Football/head coach model which I think Rovers should be employing here IMO.
