  1. I'm sure Mani has got reliable info on those points you posted about unless I know Paul wouldn't post them. Paul Mani is nothing like Mercer'esque track record for sure.
  2. Slammed the club over season tickets not being sell, ticket prices too high for matches, came up with loyalty scheme for non season ticket holders, prices of the food and drink is a joke plus the food is poor quality. Lack of activities going on at the club on non match days or even pre match or post match. Then on to Mowbray tactics in recent weeks. his crap tactic yesterday, poor player performance
  3. I would say that the squad has been improved compare to what was here when he took over. Cos it was mess when he took over. The way I look at it is any new managerial appointment has a chance straight way to bring in his own players for those positions we need signings for. The club has recruitment department now and any managerial appointment will have help in that department. Also why I would be in favour of bringing in Director of football I think you are being abit Bitter and cynical. Fans are wise enough to make their own minds on Mowbray and his future
  4. Swift ain't with us so lets focus on the players we have here. Buckley should have replace Rothwell. Dack for Nyambe was a obvious to make given that the back 3 formation wasn't working again but Stubborn Mowbray keeps starting with it
  5. Sorry, But I am not on here everyday actually anymore. I come on mainly at Weekends and odd day during the week actually But you have ignored people like @oldjamfan1 and @Paul Mani who posted their info and they wouldn't post it unless they were sure the info was right Mercer's record says it all
  6. During the Reading away game, Andy Bayes during his commentary said that Rovers and Mowbray had look at signing Swift but his current wages were well beyond Rovers wage budget. Maybe if he had Gallagher has a striker we might have scored more goals inside of this wide forward rubbish. If you wanted Goalscorer then we should have sign Rhys Healey from Toulouse for example
  7. Agree with the Ainsworth comments above. He has done a great job at Wycombe We had a deal for Barnsley midfielder Callum Styles agree in January. I would also have look at Cameron Brannagan at Oxford. He's score goals from Midfield.
  8. I believe that Erik Ten Hag hero and the one he wants to follow with his football philosophy is the Legend Johan Cruyff
  9. Who posted the info we were giving up on Cat 1 status? Just look at the people who posted the info and I would say they wouldn't just posted random rumours either. What happens if none of them was interested in job after finding the budget, etc. We agree that Mowbray should have replace before this season and we agree on right now that we need a new man in that seat for next season. We might have different opinions on who should replace Mowbray and how we should do but we agree on the number 1 issue here
  10. Yes I have massive rethink on Mowbray's future here and I do think it need a clean break even if we got promote. Rovers need to move on and appoint a new structure and ideas going forward. What triggered this? I have got fed up and annoyed with his team selections, his stubbornness to keep starting 5 at the back when clearly it hasn't worked for games after games. His tactics are getting more and more weird like yesterday with 2 number 10's and 2 wide strikers. WTF was that about? His body language has changed in recent weeks and got back to last season body language. The Club has gone stale and we need a new manager who can get supporters back but the club also need to come up with a proper affordable plan for fans to come back. I am grateful for the Job Mowbray did in his first 3 years here but I think if we don't even make the playoffs it feels like a massive opportunity has been missed for promotion. Also I don't understand why you bring in Giles and don't use him properly given how he performance at Cardiff. I would have thought it was clear how to play him either as left win back or left winger. not as a right bloody winger. We need to move on from Mowbray whether we go for manager or DoF/Head Coach structure we need new fresh approach for next season for sure
  11. who says it was rumour. Several posters posted similar info on here. Posters who wouldn't posted gossip but would only post if they trusted their info was correct. Surely before sacking Mowbray you would want his replacement line up and ready to come in. That's would be quite normal for a football club to do imo and what I would do if I was owner of BRFC.
  12. Yes I think Rothwell has been massive disappointment since his January move to Bournemouth didn't happen. Rovers should have agreed to his move to Bournemouth and brought in 2 or 3 players with that money I agree with the above comment
  13. several posters have said on here that the club talks to 4 different managers last summer but none agree to take over. So Mowbray wasn't sack. I think if you look at his comments post match to Reading away game in March 2021, he sounded like he knew his time was over at the club after that game. Also Waggott and Mowbray held talks after the Fulham 7 nil home defeat away him walking away but the win and performance against Sheffield United stop this happening
  14. is that who you think Venkys will appoint as Mowbray's replacement? Hasn't Pulis retire from football?
  15. It was great chance for a header when I seen extended highlights on Sky football channel this morning
  16. Yep I agree. We shouldn't have started 3 at the back yesterday. I Didn't understand where we change to 2 number 10's with 2 wide strikers in the second half as that wasn't needed but We should have replace Dack for Nyambe and Buckley for Rothwell. I think Mowbray need a change and I think he has realised it himself.
  17. Coyle said he had a meeting with Balaji who then told the club to appoint him. Here the story COYLE admitted he met Balaji Rao after being interviewed for the job by two Venky’s representatives. He said: “I met with Suhail and one other Indian gentleman, advisors to the family, and on the back of that I met with Mr Bala, and on the back of that I was offered the job.” Cheston added: “We completed the interview process at the time and then I went on holiday and I was abroad when we became aware of Owen. The process had to continue without me.” 'They have no intention of selling the club' - report on Blackburn Rovers supporters’ consultation meeting | Lancashire Telegraph
  18. Not really hard to follow tbh. I posted a very lengthy post after the Barnsley away game last season on 17th February saying why a change of manager was needed and how we could go about it. I think Mowbray will leave the club after the last game of the season Fair enough and someone I have suggested in the past. He would be on my shortlist if we want a manager appointment and not go down the Director of Football/head coach model which I think Rovers should be employing here IMO.
  19. I'm not shocked at Leeds winning at Watford and the impact Jesse Marsch has had there since being appointing there. I think Norwich are capable of winning tomorrow
  20. We should go for younger manager with a modern day approach. time to move on from managers like Pulis, Warnock, McCarthy, Hughton, Bruce
