  1. here is a few suggestions of batsmen's England should be looking at for the test squad this summer Tom Haines from Sussex Rob Yates from Warwickshire Josh Bohannon from Lancashire Joe Clarke from Nottinghamshire
  2. well that's no surprised to be honest and exactly what my work colleague said would happen
  3. That's a question for the summer and we will see after the season ends but looking at Mowbray's comments, I think he is leaving the club this summer so you would hope Waggott has a shortlist to present their owners for approval to approach and appoint a new manager/head coach. Not used that certain agency When I done a search its yourself who posted the info, so if you can point me to this post where I said this please well that is what I meant. Like I have already said that the club cannot and should not stand still in terms of recruitment or looking and scouting players for the summer and next season. John Park has lots of experience in terms of recruitment and we will be using his experience.
  4. Well our opinions are very different on this and I still stand by my comments Don't you play on Sunday at 2 pm on Sky Sports? The players this season have failed to stand up under 2 managers and don't haver the bottle for the relegation fight. Even yesterday game shown they were only a couple of players up for the fight. Still think Everton will get out of it and it reminds me of when Everton got out of relegation on the last day of the season in 93/94 season
  5. Yes Forest probably well but teams around the top 6 are playing each other meaning teams will take points off each other
  6. Looking at Mowbray's pre match comments today that Lenihan, Nyambe and Khadra are likely to not be fit for this game. So my team would be this Kaminski Brown Van Hecke Wharton Pickering Travis Rothwell Dolan Buckley Brereton Gallagher
  7. who says they would have won their games if they had already played them. You assuming they would have won them which you can't sorry to hear it
  8. sadly the football club doesn't stand still whoever the manager is in terms of recruitment. The recruitment team still have jobs to do and we shouldn't stop scouting, talking to players's agents or coming on with different lists of players. Well Miller we disagree on your last sentence and I think Mowbray should be given the season. On the whether we have a new manager for next season, who knows. We have to see after the season has ended what we do regarding this issue. My point was moving away from Blackburn Rovers and trying a new club whether its local to Manchester or maybe not Its was yourself who posted this info as I proven time after time. Its was you who posted this info. Here the link to your post. https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/33765-summer-transfer-window-2019/?do=findComment&comment=1960681 Like I said to you in March I am fully aware of all the above. same argument again from you but I have heard that he andn his missus want to move back down south I am also aware of Nyambe's background thanks but have you ever thought he might to move to different club and try something new. You aren't interested in wage structure and FFP when its suits you. sadly this is reality of running a football club even tho the club should be doing more to increase non match day revenue, attract more fans and have more activities going on whether its on a match day or non match day
  9. We have a recruitment team who would have scouted loads and loads of players. Also should the club stand still over recruitment over whether Mowbray stays or not? Are Manchester United or Watford standing still over the potential doubt over who the manager will be for next season? Plus it who the next manager is worth their salt would be interesting by that work and work with the recruitment team in place. the club is planning for next season regardless whether Mowbray stays or not. What happens if we appoint John Park as Director of football then appoint first team head coach not a manager?
  10. or you could get your ticket on the day or even get the ticket by email thanks Mowbray said post match that the players raring to go for the next game and has he said "bring it on" we been in top 6 for period of time now
  11. You are far too judgemental and so quick to judge. Below average? you are massive downplaying his 18 months at Chelsea where for most of that They were in Transfer embargo. They finish in the top 4 so that was good achievement while bringing through players like Mount and James into becoming key Chelsea players Ali has only been for 2 months and was short of fitness before he join, so why be judgemental on it. Tell to judge is not season. You keep saying that he wouldn't have got the job had he not enjoyed the playing career that he did but you can't come up with any alternative name who they should have appointed or seem to forget that The Everton Chairman Bill Kenwright wanted him as well as the fans wanted him
  12. The focus is on this season and tbh next season squad problems and evaluate can wait until the summer for. Its all about getting a playoff place that it. We are still in the playoff picture even after this bad run. So I still wouldn't have sack him and tbh I think we would have been crazy to do so. So I don't see it any opportunity missed at all on your point the new manager is starting from a standing start, well that's isn't correct cos the recruitment team have still be doing their work in the background and will have a different list for each position as we heard Mowbray confirm last week. Plus a new manager will be already without Nyambe and Rothwell cos they want to leave and move away from the area. Reason why they haven't sign a new contract
  13. Yes Dack did and I hope the next 3 home games sell well cos the club and players need you
  14. Pereria was the man they were going to appoint before the backlash from Bill Kenwright and The fans. Average in previous job. really? Did a very good job at Chelsea under the transfer embargo and brought through players like Reece James, Mason Mount into being key players for the club. You are looking at the Lampard amd Everton situation with a very biased view cos you dislike Lampard for some reason. Give him time blimey. Time to judge Ali is next season. He is lacking proper fitness and isn't the same player from a couple of seasons ago. Need a proper pre season and hopefully we see a player back to best and playing for England
  15. Rovers are going to need 8 to 10 new signings under hopefully a new manager. A new manager will be able to put his own stamp straight away on the playing squad and mould it into his own style, formation and tactics. I would say that a new manager would be exciting challenge for him I think Lenihan will sign a new contract here. Signing wise we need 1 right back 1 centre back. Maybe 2 3 centre midfielder 2 strikers 1 winger. Maybe 2 wingers depends on the formation we will play
  16. I do stand by that Comment and I think Everton will need a massive clear out this summer and let Lampard build his own squad. Plus I think he will proved his worth over the coming seasons. I'm not surprised by the form of Everton and this is problem similar to Manchester United where the squad has far too many egos and need a clear out. Could they have got better appointment cos if you do then I look forward to hearing a few names from you? Would Vitor Pereira done better? Not convinced at all he would have done. Ali signing about?
  17. Surely Strauss and Harrison are close to appointing a new director of English cricket and I'm hoping for an appointment in the next 2 weeks so we can sort out the roles of national selector, test head coach and odi/20twenty head coach. Plus Root's captaincy future
  18. I am fully aware of all the stats involving the current run of results and goals scored and conceded since the 1st of January. I wouldn't have made any managerial change within the last couple of months despite the results. I don't believe a change of manager would have much difference. Just look how long its took Bruce at West Brom or Hughes at Bradford who have had very limited impact. I think a managerial change is needed for next season and given Mowbray's comments pre match about no contract offer yet from the club or the owners I think he is off whatever happens this season unless we are promoted. I have never said Mowbray should be protected from any criticism have I? I was very critical of his recent team selections and formations being used and I believe that he is far too stubborn to admit that the back 3 from the start of the game isn't working and we aren't solid any more with that formation. But I do think that the players have to shoulder some of the criticism and the results we have had in games since January. You want to give them a free pass and pin everything on Mowbray. So when we win is all down to Mowbray and none of the players deserve any praise for the win. Thanks for that being your stance for future reference
  19. Isn't Michael O'Neill staying at Stoke and the owners seem to be sticking with him and allowing him the summer to turn it around
  20. No Results have been poor and don't think anyone has said otherwise but we are still in the playoff picture and the Blackpool game is a must win. A playoff place is still there if we can win 4 or 5 games in the last 6 games Sorry but this is just pain wrong. The players have to take some responsibly for their role in our current run but your opinion allow them off again for their role in this current run You got to step back and look at the overall situation and why we have gone on this bad run. Mowbray is being too stubborn with his tactics at the start of the game and hopefully against Blackpool we will be back to 4 at the back and playing 4-2-3-1 formation like we should have been doing in recent games I have watched the full game this morning and yes the first performance and the starting 11 was unacceptable. I slammed the starting line up and the formation several times in the match thread. Mowbray got his wrong yesterday again. But we made 2 changes and look a very different team and should have won.
