had the communication been better for years and they communicate properly, we might not be here now For example Derby approach Eustace and Rovers on the Friday before the Wolves game but somehow he is allow to take charge of that game then he said he has just find out post game about the approach, which wasn't true. Rovers and Eustace didn't tell the fans the exactly situation, trust breaks down there. That situation was mis management by the club. Rovers should have put Eustace, Downing and Gardiner on gardening leave and Rovers should have put Lowe and Johnson until further notice. Rovers on Saturday morning release a statement saying Derby has approach us for Eustace and his staff, They want to hold talks with them so they have been place on Gardening leave and who is in charge of the first team affairs until further notice. Sadly we didn't do any of them and we didn't know who was in charge of WBA game until 2 hours before kick off. Then after Eustace move to Derby was done and confirmed, Rovers CEO or Director of football should have been in front of camera doing an interview with Elliott Jackson, Radio Lancs and Rovers TV explaining why Eustace left what the plan is going forward and the process to appointing a new head coach. Then why Ismael was appointed, Gestede and Waggott should have done a press conference with Ismael telling the fans why he was picked, etc, etc. Same with the transfer window, etc, etc.

It was post and point about how a football club should be run in my opinion. Not going how good and bad our recruitment has been this season cos we done it before and before, so isn't really going to get anywhere is it? 🙄

We sent £15m on 3 strikers in a 12 month period. When we signed Gallagher is the summer we need defenders but Mowbray was a big Gallagher fan and wanted him back here. A good DoF(which we didn't have one) or a board of directors would have asked why and blocked that move, instead Mowbray got what he wanted. This is why I prefer the head coach/DoF structure where the head coach only gets involves in the final stage when picking the final target and not before present a shortlist of targets from our recruitment department and DoF.

Well well. A good point after that second half performance. That first half performance apart from Dolan and Ohashi shots were dire, lacking passion and not good enough on any scale. Pears should be tipping that header over the bar instead of palming into another Wednesday player path, Second half, must better, tempo up several gears and Dolan's goal get the fans going. He shown passion all game and I enjoyed the second goal getting the ball wide and Ohashi in there at the right time, right place. He hasn't wanted to change too much from the Eustace's style at the start. The problem is the team was set up to win 1 nil. Very rare did we ever come back to win to draw or win after going behind. That is not a criticise of previous head coaches but that is fact of what the situation was We need to created more chances and hopefully we can do that.

You seem to have such a problem with the head coach role and what it should be. You wanted them to be old school manager where he control everything football side of the club has done. well that depends whether the head coach has been employed to play that style of play the club want they to or whether he has autocracy to decide a style of play he wants to play Its the football club who has decide to play this way based on what the football board, management and sporting Director wants. They will employ a head coach who has experience in playing that way or bring through youth into the first team. What ever they want to do.
