  1. I think Andy is right cos they will someone with experience but not someone who wants full control. Its will meet EFL requirement. Rudy isn't experience enough for me, If he wants to become as Chief Executive then he needs to go in as deputy CEO somewhere
  2. I watched last night game and it's wasn't the best game for neutral but I am pleased Spurs won it and pleased for Ange who I think some of the media criticism cos he said he wins things in his second season cos he set a target to actually win something over finishing top 4. Ange has played different in knock out games like the League Cup semi final against Liverpool or in the Europa League game against Frankfurt. I think we have seen it already that teams are playing very different currently like Liverpool or Newcastle getting good results Ange accepted that the PL performances haven't been good but they just lifted a trophy and got a champions league place which I'm sure every Spurs would have accepted. Why would you sack him, surely its the time to add 3 or 4 quality signings and build on it not rip it up again I can't comment on the overall quality of the competition as this is the first game I have watched of this competition cos of 2 English teams but I would say that Champions League drop outs shouldn't be entering this competition, They are in the champions League and when they are knock out, they are knock out for the season. You are right that Amorin isn't under pressure at United as Ratcliffe has said previously, they knew this managerial change wasn't a short term appointment and don't forget Amorin didn't want to take charge until this summer cos he knew his tactics and this squad isn't suited to his formation and he said this is formation and he ain't changing it. The board are backing him with some signings and overhaul of the squad, they have already lined up Delap(who has been for talks there) deal from Ipswich and Cunha deal from Wolves, but they need much more than those 2.
  3. have you email the chairman of the We Are The Rovers to asked why they haven't joined the Coalition and why they are sticking to original plan? points deductions for what Tompill2?
  4. Its no surprised that Waggott has left. Then statement is very blunt and straight to the point. No long statement. He has carried the can for the poor external and internal communication in the last 18 months. The decision and the PR around the axing of the Women's team was disaster and should have been handled so much better.
  5. Looks like its an external appointment given what Andy Bayes has said today. but summer recruitment can't be stopped and Gestede and Owen needs to carry and trying to bring signings in
  6. Swansea had 600k bod last week for him rejected
  7. I'm pleased we didn't. Not good enough. Hedges is better for me.
  8. didn't they finish 14th 2017/18 season and the same position 13th in 2022/23 season as this season?
  9. At the end of the day, I like Hedges and I think he is good squad player for us, can play either wide position and experience which I think we need here. Ismael has said in the LT recently, he thinks there is more to come from Hedges. I don't think he is regular starter but I think starting some games and coming on in others I see as his role this coming season. I still think we need a new right winger and another attacking player who can play up front or wide left.
  10. Former Norwich City manager Johannes Hoff Thorup is set to take over as the next boss of Queens Park Rangers. QPR set to appoint former Norwich boss as their new manager after putting Marti Cifuentes on gardening leave following West Brom talks | Daily Mail Online Decent appointment and I thought he was harshly sacked by Norwich. Thought Norwich would give longer with him but they didn't. Norwich still haven't appoint his replacement. WBA and Hull City have vacancies for their head coach positions. Supposedly Ryan Mason is WBA's first choice and are waiting until after Spurs Europa Final before moving for him
  11. Wilcon's strike was great, Newell turn and finish(what a good player he was), Paul Gallagher's goal was sublime and great first touch, Santa Cruz goal and David Dunn goal.
  12. The former Rovers players scoring the goals in Brighton vs Liverpool. Elliott and Ayari with the goals.
  13. Or JDT, Eustace and Ismael really rated him alot more than others do on this forum
  14. back to all this standards bollocks, boring pal. So can fans make the wrong decisions.
  15. Your hatred for Hedges which I think is clear to see is baffling. 3 head coaches had mostly picked him as a regular which tell you alot and maybe they see what you can't or won't see was the pass to Ohashi to score the winner at Luton an easy one or the pass to Woodrow at Sunderland for Dolan's winner?
  16. what the issue with given Weimann a new deal? he is goal threat, can play a different attacking positions. another good squad player option
  17. Cantwell goal against Watford in the home game, his pass to Dolan who pass to Ohashi to cross for Cantwell to finish https://x.com/garysmith2301/status/1916150816748011598 Hedges's pass to Woodrow who pass to Dolan the winner at Sunderland https://x.com/Witchwalker70/status/1914327228483072277 Hedges's pass to Ohashi for the winner at Luton and what a lovely weight pass https://x.com/Witchwalker70/status/1911074914070671535
  18. everyone thought the paperwork had gone through, it hadn't.
  19. I see Hedges a good squad player and I like him. He was very often involved in our goals towards end of the season, like Ohashi goal at Sheffield.
  20. He didn't start either Playoff game. started 13 games in 21 games during the league, I think he is another one who need to leave and find first team football to develop and play regular football
  21. why would we offer him anything? has he been a success at Orient?
  22. yes we all know what you think of Hedges as a player, gloating? give it a rest RF99 with stirring the pot, I am just pleased we have released him now. right decision what is serious club?
  23. we paid 500k for him, but he has hardly been a success at Orient in the second half and was on the bench for their playoffs game. How much do you really think we would get and surely its best we done the right thing and get rid, he isn't good enough and we didn't take easy call as others say we would?
