Firstly, different positions and Huijsen is highly regarded and other PL teams wanted him like Chelsea and Liverpool but Madrid is probably a dream move for him. He has shown his worth and is international player. His release clause was £50m and that fee was needed to get him. Wharton is building his PL career and a move to Palace 18 months probably was the right move for his development given he would be PL regular and show his talent where his talent is being seen. Dan Ashworth visited Ewood Park a number of times and I guess he was scouting Adam Wharton.

I know how you felt given I used to work there until 14 years ago after 8 years of service when I was made redundant, but it was probably time for me to go but try new experiences and jobs.
