  1. probably not but they can grow their squad and improve it. I think Leeds will probably stay up I think next season and I think Sunderland might surprise a few teams next season
  2. That is Nicko's story that PNE will go big for Small and he is one of their key targets. Probably will play one of their wing roles there.
  3. I wouldn't agree but you need to know how to manage them and get the best out of them. I think selling McTominary was a mistake and you look at his impact at Napoli and their title win.
  4. Alan Nixon saying that Rovers are close to sorting out a new contract for Brittain so us looking to sign Small from Charlton less important. Derby are battling Rovers for Batth signature
  5. Guehi should be playing for top 6 team. Konsa has done well at Villa. Colwill and Branthwaite are developing and getting better. Tomori is playing for AC Milan and surprise a PL team hasn't looked to sign him
  6. Fulham and Bournemouth only get promoted 3 seasons ago and what they have done is brought quality players and have a plan of what they would do. I don't get think Southampton bought well and I think Leicester seem not be able massively in the squad due to PL FFP. I expect Leeds will target 6 or 7 quality signings that fit into the current squad. Burnley need a couple of quality strikers. I suspect Sunderland will stick to their model of buying young players and developing them. They didn't spend loads of money around 5 mil last summer and in the winter window they turned Idisor loan into a perm move and signed Le Fee on loan which now they are promoted will turned into a permanent transfer for £20m I think Sunderland should stick to their plan which they had since their owner bought the club and appointed Speakman as Director of Football who background is youth development at Birmingham. I think they will spend around £40m after this permanent move for Le Fee for £20m cos of their promotion but they will buy young and develop them
  7. He did say the right things and he promised this disaster would happen before this summer when he can bring in specific players to fit his own system. He said things would get alot worse before getting better this summer, lets see if he is right. Just be clear, I wouldn't have appointed him in the first place cos his style of play, formation require a specific type of signing instead I would have appointed someone with PL experience and someone who mainly plays 4-2-3-1 formation whilst making a number of changes this summer squad wise but Sancho, Rashford and Mainoo would be part of my starting line up.
  8. No it's very relevant cos he expected it and warned the club before he started this would happened I dont get why you can accept he was right and United have backed him which I expected given Ratcliffe interview with Gary Neville about his 1st year in charge there
  9. Wrong here RF99. Like with the Senior Training Centre being sold that they tried, I called it out straight away and said it's was completely and utter disgrace to do it. Rovers PR and media relations are poor as ever. Look at India Court and the mess around that. They tried to ignore it instead of being proactive and control the story.
  10. Its just keep worse and worse for Lancashire this season, Its not good enough
  11. dont agree Matty but of course you would disagree with me, see ya
  12. never said this sort of decision would be good PR did I Matty
  13. a decision like that would be unpopular mostly, but communicate the decision to the players directly to them personally and properly, not lead it to the women head coach to do it. Also communicate the decision to the supporters by a video explaining the reasons why and what happens going forward. Rovers aren't proactive media relations wise and not smart. I have no interest in women football or watching Rovers Woman team but the decision is wrong one and axing it is wrong move.
  14. He did say it, I posted the link where he said it. He has confirmed that he is staying for next season and will be backed with £100m plus other money from sales like Rashford, Garnacho(who it has been reported by well trusted Journalists that he is up for sale) and Mainoo.
  15. 1000% correct, I find its very annoyed how much some people rubbished what Southgate actually did but its been our best performances since 1966 and 1996. plenty of good centre backs like Stones Guehi, Tomori, Branthwaite, Colwill, Konsa tbh, I think Wharton would benefit from a summer of rest and being fresh for next season
  16. Well done Sunderland. Sunderland will used the PL money to buy potential and not waste money like Southampton and Burnley did but continue with what their plan has been since their owner came in. I think Bellingham will stay unless he has an offer from Dortmund or something like that. Wouldn't surprise me if Moyes at Everton went for him They got new owners and still second season PL parachute money but I think Hamer will have PL teams after him and I think Cooper and Souza might aswell
  17. I will be more reserve about such a judgement in the future
  18. ffs, move on pal. I have accepted I was wrong but sadly with yourself you just keep going on and on about IT. Yet he was 100% Ruben Amorim explains Man Utd's key issues with warning of 'long suffering'
  19. He has just won their first trophy for years. They are reasons why their league position is awful which Ange accepted wasn't good enough but he delivered on his target on winning a trophy, yes a trophy, something they are celebrate. clearly didn't read a thing I replied about United situation and what Amorim said at the start of the reign there. His prediction was right and it was say at Sporting when he took over mid season. Ismael proved my wrong with 4 back to back win and something happened at half time during Sheffield Wednesday which turned things around for our season. We were chasing a playoff place I think Watford and Hull were wrong to sack their head coaches as they did and I stand by everything I said every word of it.
  20. who says there is? what your info on this? what the power struggle been over? Care to elaborate why he is out of depth? Of course you need to communicate with your supporters and stakeholders regular. From your comments I take your CEO doesn't communicate with yourself over what decisions have been, why and what it means for the future. Fair enough. glad to know
  21. cos communicate to your supporters and your stakeholders is important. Does your boss or CEO not communicate to you regular at your workplace? The lack of communication of their decision to the Women's team players was shameful If you are a member of the WATR then asked the chair via email your question
  22. Suhail is now the COO of Rovers now so that's not an issue Rovers isn't an India company so how could India investigations investigate Rovers paperwork. The owners aren't on the board of directors either. I don't know enough whether they could investigate over here in the UK or not. do you have knowledge of whether they could or not?
  23. Its weaker cos other leagues aren't a strong as our league is and your better teams are in champions league, that's what the clubs and UEFA wanted No, I want to give them time to build a team and I think some clubs are far too impatient On Ismael, Yes I did but so did plenty of others. I did cos their performances were poor and I could see our playoff place slippery away. Yourself did plenty of comments on Ismael's early games and you were unhappy about the results. SPURS WON A TROPHY. End of story and that is what Football is about, winning things. On Spurs, their league performances weren't good enough as Ange has said but having a number of key defenders out and attacking players didn't help them plus they win a trophy and got champions League football, Ange set winning a trophy as the aim, and he and the players delivered that. I would take poor league position if we won a trophy, cos you will never forget winning it or being at Stadium celebrating that win with the fans, players and staff.. From your comments you clearly wouldn't. sad really United only made a change during this season and they knew this squad didn't ft how Amorim's style of play and tactics but they accepted that and appoint him. Now its need signings to make his tactics work. Also Amorim warned that this would happened when appointed there and he was right. All what you seem to forget again. The problem started here 12 months when they were indecisive over Ten Hag going or staying, even speaking to a number of different managers about the role including Amorim supposedly.
  24. Waggott did one interview in the 18 months FFS, that isn't communicating with your supporters and stakeholders. No, I don't expected the club to be run differently now he has gone, but the club communication and the PR is a disaster. The way the decision around the axing the Women's team was PR disaster and any Media relations person would take you this. They couldn't even communicate with the Women players over their decision properly, FFS, that's basic stuff. I expected the club to communicate much better and more regular if you want to improve some things. What power struggle? What the issue with Sufi aswell?
