  1. I think that was main reason.. I do think Phillips would be regular next to Hyam right now if had stayed but he didn't.
  2. Money? Not everything is that, player development is what should be priority for these younger players yet it isnt JDT did used him and was doing so whilst developing him. So why haven't top Championship club sign him now then? Moving to Spurs was about one thing, money. Nothing else
  3. Young players joins PL clubs far too early and going nowhere at them. We seen far too many young players moved to these clubs and end in league 2 or conference league. He would be regular here if he had stayed but even when he signed the new contract here it was pointless and Spurs waited a year. JDT was using him and developing him. It was totally utter pointless signing for Spurs cos he will never been there
  4. Phillips's stock has risen to what? Why did Spurs buy for him tho in the first place?
  5. I didn't comment on Stoke's signings but they have made quality signings previously and gone nowhere league position. I don't think Stoke will be pushing for top 6. I stand by my point on Tyjon comment and the pointless comparison to Weimann. 2 different players and also in terms of footballing experience I didn't comment on Phillips joining Stoke or him joining Spurs. I don't see Wrexham pushing on and being playoffs contenders. Lower mid table at best
  6. Not at all Bruce as ever but you missed mine.
  7. and I still won't be watching just like I haven't watched a single game of the Women's Euros. I didn't watch last night as I was watching the darts and just like I am tonight. Luke Littler up now to play
  8. Stoke haven' done anything for years despite spending millions after millions. Look at Wrexham squad and I don't think they will cope aswell as they have have in previous season.
  9. fair play to those who have gone to the games live in the stadium and that's great commitment and expensive asked for people but also those who are fans of the women's games, not watched any of the women's Euro so far and won't be watching the final. I just don't any interest in women football and I will be watching the darts. Just isn't for me personally
  10. Still expect we will get more than 4/5k walk ons for Birmingham home game Rovers start well and get a positive result against WBA, maybe more on
  11. Nicko this morning said Rovers are still after 4 more signings which are centre back, centre midfielder winger and striker possible on loan Eustace came, keep us up and did very well last season but then walk out on us. We moved on, he has moved on and most fans have moved on I totally agree you can't compare or say whether these signings are not good enough or worst than last season squad, also factoring in we are playing different football to under Eustace and no way should players like Tyjon be compare to Weimann FFS We know whether these signings and future ones are good enough by the performances in the league and cup NOT right now Stoke won't be anything but mid table, Wrexham will be bottom 6/8 based on their squad. Might change if they go more quality but they have older squad than most but can they sustain their current form, I doubt it.
  12. Blackburn, Derby and Queens Park Rangers are interested in signing striker Timothe Nkada from French side Rodez. Nkada, 26, was joint-second top scorer in Ligue 2 last season with 17 goals and is available for about £2.2million. He previously played under new Rangers coach Julien Stephan when he was in the youth set-up at Rennes. By Charlie Wyett
  13. Another good night of Darts..great for the neutrals
  14. Maybe someone who can play up front or wide right
  15. So the Brittain was set to join Derby was fake news as Ismael said post game. Good. Stop drinking the beer lad cos you are talking utter bullshit, I have always said Shearer was my favourite ever Rovers player and always was. He was my hero when I was growing up. Others favourite players but just behind Shearer are Mark Atkins, Tugay, Matt Jansen, Brad Freidel, Ryan Nelsen, Roque Santa Cruz and Craig Conway. Cantwell was the best player on the pitch against Everton
  16. Nacho Sancho https://www.linkedin.com/in/nacho-sancho?utm_source=share&utm_campaign=share_via&utm_content=profile&utm_medium=android_app Look like Karl Hodges has moved on. Derby maybe?
  17. No, I rated him and think he will become good player for us. Can get box to box
  18. Really good goals today. Yuki looks good, Cantwell look much better fitness wise after a full pre season. Onwards to Friday game now
  19. Shearer was the best striker I've ever. After that its a great whether its Mike Newell, Chris Sutton, Matt Jansen, Craig Bellamy, Benni McCarthy and Roque Santa Cruz
  20. I have nothing to add to my original points and comments regarding Tyjon. We aren't going to agree here so why don't leave it here agree to disagree
  21. I have read all your posts thanks and I know what you have said. like I said previously, you always look the negative like whether he is physically capable and what happened if he can't cope. What happens if he can cope and is fine physically, ever thought of that RF99? Wharton was taking out of the team cos JDT dropped him over the defensively side of the game. he isn't going to commit unless he is getting the game time he wants and Ismael has talk to him and family.
  22. And if we don't give him game time and he won't sign. He is good talent and prospect, and we need to develop him and hopefully that will convince him to sign here a new contract
  23. same old repeating comments cos I don't agree with you about actually giving our talent young players proper game time firstly, Tyjon won't commit until he knew whether he will get the game time Ismael has said, Secondly, Rovers also have to commit to Tyjon by given him proper game time, not just the odd minute here and there. thirdly, You don't know if he is physically but the only way you will know is by actual playing him. You comments about whether he can cope with pressure or whether he is physically read. The only way you will know is by playing him, developing him. Far too cautious with everything. Good job you were in charge otherwise Raya, Buckley and Wharton would have never develop and played as much ever. You keep saying you aren't again develop young players Well your comments suggest another thing
