  1. Rovers signed them. Do any of us knew who was behind the Ohashi signing or the Cantwell signing or the Beck signing or the Toth signing?
  2. Its a someone having a plan and I think WATR have mentioned delivery leaflets in different areas where Rovers fans live and some fans would actually help the club and deliver them in their local area for them.
  3. Never said I believe what Suhail Pasha said but what I actually said he has said that on the record was the point being made. Clearly you just read what you want on that The summer transfer window was decent but nowhere near as bad as you make but clearly Ohashi, Weimann, Batth, Gueye and Beck were all crap signings in your opinion. Who knows what this window will be like but I ain't going to write it off in April like you have done already.
  4. Clearly something you have great knowledge of. Don't do Drugs thanks, don't need that sort of stuff to have enjoy life. 😁
  5. Lets get that win today and make 5pm a happy time. Will be interesting who plays in goal and at right back COYB!!! 🔵⚪
  6. So it has been reported but none of us know this for sure. what players did Eustace have thrust upon on him then? can you list them? Crap? if these crap players then they wouldn't be playing professional football at such a high level of football
  7. Rovers supporters aren't just from the Blackburn with Darwen area but from different areas all over Lancashire whether its Hyndburn, Ribble Valley, Chorley, Leyland, even Lancaster. Rovers should commercially reaching all these communities with us visiting schools, Kids football clubs, or even dropping leaflets off in these different areas, etc
  8. did a good job after that for 2 seasons of utter chaos and mess with 3 permanent managers and 3 caretaker spells. I remember when Bowyer took after Berg sacking and we picked 3 back to back wins and a draw in his 4 games in charge. He conducted himself very well during that chaos. If you look at other club owners alot of them have experience of owning other sports clubs/team and how the sports businesses work before buying a football club in alot of cases.
  9. Lets hope Sheffield United beat that lot on Easter Monday and to a top 2 spot
  10. Or you employ a head coach who wants more control in recruitment of players then leaves for a club that will give him that
  11. He has said it on the record and now it can be used to see whether its true or not when we see the accounts Yes you say the same thing every time. no change here. You didn't expect us to spend last summer but we did and brought in some good quality players on permanent and loan deals Are all the transfer fees in the public or just guess what we think it is We didn't spend that summer cos if FFP commitments and we sold our STC to meet them and had that money to spend the summer after Rovers will get that next Wharton instalment plus Wharton could be sold which could bring in between £8m to £12m.
  12. NOPE!!! Its basic business knowledge and understanding with your stakeholders in any businesses. A Football club is a business at the end of the day and need to be run as one Going back to a time when things were very different, English football wasn't a global brand, social media wasn't around and the amount of TV coverage and media focus wasn't what it is now. Our clubs are owned by a range of different people whether its Hollywood actors or NFL former star or owners from middle East, etc
  13. expect a new head coach at Leicester City next season
  14. You know the answer to your question. Stanley done good work in the community but so do Rovers. Yesterday, the club shop was busy with yesterday with player signing session and I would like to see more of them during the school holidays. Rovers community trust does good work in the community hence why they have won awards for t
  15. Good ownership is having a plan for short, medium and long term, employing the correct people in key roles and communicating that plan to your supporters, good commercial plan and Good ST plan that engage with supporters, understands Supporters financial situation and bring through the next generation of supporter
  16. Yes we need sign a number of new players who will fit into what Ismael(if he still here) style of play and I expect quite a few of signings from French, German and Belgium leagues. What is a competitive budget at this level and how much do you want? I think we have similar to spend this summer as last season(24/25 season). Around the £4-£5m transfer fee. Need a new keeper for sure, centre back, box to box midfielder, 2 wingers, another striker. Hopefully Weimann and Batth sign for next season otherwise we might another 2 signings there. Right back if Duru is loan out for the season or injured. Pears should be sold, JRC is another possible sale I would consider cos he hasn't improved, Maybe even a couple more Some of that money cover their losses over a season and some gone to the running cost of the club. Pasha said they spend £4.5m on transfer fees this season during the interviews he did
  17. YES!!! Communicate to your supporters and stakeholders why you have made that appointment, budgets, etc. Effective communication Communication is crucial and being open and honest about decisions, why people have left, why appointments have been made would help connect, etc, etc For example if I appointed a new CEO, then he would do interviews with Rovers TV, Radio Lancs and LT, whilst me as the owner would do similar why they have been appointed and what they would bring the club and its stakeholders. Effective proper communication.
  18. Matty asked me a couple of weeks a similar question and I said last summer I wouldn't appointed into that role in the first place as I thought we needed someone with experience in that role given our budget we had. That not against Gestede cos I don't see at the job but I would have appoint an experience DoF. my point was about Football as a Whole. What players were signed against Eustace desire? What was Eustace's role and did he caused the disagreements in recruitment cos he wanted Championship experience signings? Did Eustace wanted Gueye, Ohashi, Beck, Batth who proved to be good signings? Given that head coaches didn't last long within the game, you need a director of football to have plan for short, medium and long term, employ scouts and data analysis, bring him new players. Employ the right head coach to fit in with players but also the short and medium plan of the club if it such a bad structure to have in place why did clubs all over have the
  19. Toth Montgomery Hyam Batth Pickering Travis Tronstad Dolan Ohashi Cantwell Gueye
  20. of course it benefitted football as a whole.
  21. from 15/20 years ago. Social media and online media is here and you can used to your benefit or not. Rovers should do more and communicate much better and communicate to your supporters. Waggott and Gestede should have been out there after Eustace left and when Ismael was appointed. Why Gestede was appointed. Etc etc Its about open with what and why decisions have been made and communicate those decisions have been made to your club supporters. Its called effective communication with your stakeholders.
  22. I know what I said thanks RF99 but the overall point was footballing structure to prevent the Gallagher type situation and have more structure and scouting system to finding and recruiting potential players to sign. piss off? care to explain it more?
  23. no one employ managers anymore. Its the head coach structure now with Sporting Director or Director of football. the game has moved on
  24. ok thanks for sharing that. I apprenticed it 👍
