  1. isn't Gallagher out injury and wont feature at Barnsley?
  2. I thought Brereton lead the line fine yesterday and was My MOTM. He run the channels and made some clever runs. Just final ball let him down. I don't see Butterworth has a main striker but has number 10 or playing from wide,. Not a role I have seen him from the games I've seen him play
  3. Cos I want a manager who has had recent success like recent promotion, won a trophy or finish a top 6/playoff final. Also what is bizarre is you keep mentioning the same names you were 3 years ago and your love in with Hughton. at the minute Mowbray has us 7th in the league and has done a good job this season but thats doesn't mean that his failure to get us top 6 in the previous season is overlooked. But I don't see a change happening any time soon. If he gets us a mid table finish this season I would say thankyou Mowbray for the job you have done here and your efforts but I would like to bring in a new manager with fresh ideas and new approach
  4. I would start with Butterworth and replace him with Khadra around 60 mins who could use his pace and tricky against Barnsley tiring players
  5. that world cup was nearly 20 years ago. Its like your Keane suggestion that baffles me cos he hasn't been manager for 10 years. You living in the past. I think McCarthy has done a very good job at Cardiff and he has the perfect striker in Moore for him. I also gave him credit on Sunday for his changes and getting the win. We all have our own opinions and who we would like to see in the Rovers manager seat in the future I suggested 3 managers who have had success in the last 5 years and even the last 12 months.,
  6. Rovers season ticket prices need to be lower to attract more fans back and match day prices need to be £15 per game for adults and kids for pound. Rovers had the perfect opportunity to lower prices for this season have a season tickets at £250 per adult, with Kids ST for 20 pounds. But the club didn't and now we will not attract non ST back now. I do feel that pandemic has change people habits like spending and social activities wise but the prices over recent seasons haven't been good enough for the club and they haven't done enough to attract non ST tickets back from previous seasons or even walk on's
  7. Great preview @Miller11and very enjoyable to read. Barnsley are playing tonight against Stoke so will be interesting to see what changes have happened since Schopp has taking over and how they know play. I am going to this game and looking forward to this game now. I think we will win 2-1 win. For me, I wouldn't be changing too much starting 11 wise. Dolan was good yesterday so would be starting again for me so no idea why Roversfan99 said he was quiet my team would be Kaminski Nyambe Lenihan Ayala Pickering Buckley Travis Rothwell Dolan Brereton Butterworth Hopefully Poveda will be on bench probably replacing McBride
  8. I like the look of Khadra and thought he learned that he didn't to take his man on every time but its was good debut for him. Delighted with Butterworth's impact yesterday who I would start at Barnsley. One of main concern is the role of Clarkson and not sure he was the type of player we need. But I hope for him and us that he shows in future games why we signed him. Its a long season and this is his first taste of championship football
  9. well he was sat in his normal seat for all the home league games so far including last night
  10. Buckley played the wide right role on front 3 yesterday but he should be playing in the midfield 3 or the number 10. I think he has so far had a good impact on the season. Thought he was fairly good against Luton. I do see him long term playing in deep playmaker role along side Travis but Rothwell is playing there and hes is driving the team forward and in some games its working
  11. Buckley played out of position in a role that not suited to him. Don't know what of Clarkson so far or the role he Will play here. Thought Dolan had a good game, 2 good 1st half shots. Use his tricky. Bringing on Butterworth and Khadra changeb the game I've been all home league games this season and not sense ill feeling towards Mowbray or the players at home.
  12. Brereton much better up there tonight. Played well. Gallagher was poor on Saturday and is injured for couple of weeks. Well my opinion is very different and I would play there again on Saturday.
  13. Brereton delivered. 4 goals in 7 games. Look good up front tonight. Was my MOTM.
  14. Delighted with the win and clean sheet. Mowbray his starting 11 wrong. Bickley shouldn't be playing as right side of front 3. Should be middle with Rothwell and Travis. Mowbray was quick to make the subs we need. Both attacking and added pace to the game. Fans got a lift from the subs cos they attacking players and positive changes. Agala's header was good and Brereton took his goal well. 7th in league after 7 games. Would many have predict that but we have a young side that learning game by game. Looking forward to the Barnsley game. Come on Rovers let's make it back to back wins 🔵⚪
  15. Looking forward to tonight game and expecting a good win and performance. Come on Rovers! 🔵⚪
  16. I know what happened at Swansea since I read the reasons why and I posted them on here. You seem to forget that JH! Cooper has the same agent I believe that has provided us the last 4 managers. Plus I think he would be perfect manager given his background and his top 6 finishes would be hard to ignore him. He would have control of football matters here, plus our facilities are good. Would be my 1st choice to replace Mowbray when that time happens. I would take Cooper or Ainsworth in heartbeat over McCarthy if it was my decision to make. Buy every fan has their own opinions on the managers they would to take over from Mowbray and no opinion is wrong. Well its yourself who keep it going. Plenty of Rovers fans would be against his appointment. Wasn't he sacked by the club in Cyprus and as Ireland manager? I would say that Ainsworth has achieved miracles at Wycombe and to get 2 promotions is great. on his style, He makes the best of what he has there. We have no idea how he would play with this squad do we?
  17. it is on Sky Sports Arena Or you buy a Rovers match pass for 10 pounds
  18. Please can you detail explanation how you are going to do this?
  19. Not fit enough. maybe for Saturday game at Barnsley
  20. https://relationshipscience.com/person/gandhi-babu-4786985
  21. Still new suggestions or any new engagement/arguments into the subject. Just the same old argument from yourself that we had 2 years ago on a different social media platform
  22. That might be better word for it. I believe Pasha was around then around. Didn't he meet Battersby and Currie when they were India meeting the owners. Sure has posted that on here.
  23. Who knows yet again. Balaji has his own money I believe and that's Pasha and Babu are around at Rovers these days. and he was the one who signed the fans letter just before the Swansea game.
  24. You are obsess with Hughton and you were a few seasons ago when we had this discussion. Why wouldn't Cooper come? His agent is the same one that has given us the last 4 managers, where else is he going, and would have a decent transfer budget next season. Plus developing young players and bought in some quality players into Swansea. Plus got 2 top 6 finishes. Ainsworth has done an excellent job at Wycombe over the years there. yes there are some Rovers connections there but these are my suggestions and Cooper would be my first choice based on his job done at Swansea. Pete suggested Ryan Lowe to you yesterday. I suggested Mark Robins from Coventry who doing an excellent job there. you continue to knock my suggestions without any suggestions from yourself Just keep living in the past with the same old boring suggestions. I want a manager who would progress the club in the way I want to and get us promote within a couple of seasons. I don't think Mowbray, Hughton or McCarthy would.
  25. The same old posters mention the same old boring managers names everytime. Who haven't promotion in years and failed in their recent jobs. I have mention 3 names who have won cup competitions, getting into top 6 and playoff final or achieving promotion from a small club twice in recent years. Those names being Callum Davidson, Steve Cooper and Gareth Ainsworth.
