Its should be get rid of Mowbray, bring in a new manager/head coach. Then sign some quality players this summer aswell as promote 3 or 4 players from the under like Dan Pike, Conor McBride, etc into the 1st team squad for next season -

It is right that the entire country pays it respects to Prince Philip and no football games should be played at the same time as his funeral. -
@J*Balready explained that Pasha and Babu worked for Balaji. Here is J*B post from 21st March on Pasha and Babu Suhail Pasha, who has worked for the family since 2009 in a whole host of roles. He started off relatively low in the business but has done well and now has Balaji’s support. He does a whole host of jobs but is trusted to run Balaji’s investments and make decisions on his behalf. He’s well trusted and in the inner circle. He is currently living in the area and running Rovers, reporting directly back to Balaji. Gandhi Babu, he works between Zurich and Pune and manages Balaji’s group of investments of which Rovers is one. He’s trusted by Balaji and reports back to him on the progress of his investments individually and as a group. If you have a business and want investment from Venkys, you speak to Babu who decides whether it is worth it and if so, recommends it back up the ladder. Balaji trusts Mowbray because he thinks he’s honest. He’s been stung before by people taking advantage and he doesn’t think Mowbray is doing. So he has his support. To fulfil EFL requirements you must have someone they deem to be up to standard as CEO and FD. Mowbray was asked for recommendations on who could fit these roles, in came Waggott as CEO. They fulfil their obligations within the club but ultimately Waggott reports to Pasha and Cheston reports to Babu. Key decisions (from money to on the pitch) are taken by Pasha and Babu. https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/34120-tony-mowbray-discussion/?do=findComment&comment=2190737

No you wouldn't espicsally that Mowbray would play him out wide most of the time. Why not sign a wide player instead? But Mowbray messed up massively on his 2 biggest signings. He wanted Gallagher in our 1st season back at this level but he couldn;t agree terms so he looked at other options like Brereton. He should have bought a quality centre back, left side midfielder and back up striker. Mention 3 players we could have got for the same money as we paid for Brereton. I would like to see Gallagher and Armstrong up front together but Mowbray will never do it as its against his preferred way of playing. He isn't ruined Brereton by playing him wide as I think hes played a wide role in a front 3. But Gallagher he has deffo ruined him completely by playing him wide

We should sign Cooper a couple of seasons ago. Just what we need. Still would be in favour of us signing now this summer especially if we sell Armstrong for 20 million. Reinvesting the money in improving the squad overall -

I would look at Millwall player Ben Thompson this summer. Out of contract this summer I believe. -

Would anyone look at signing midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City who is on loan at Luton Town? He is 22 years old and is he going to break into their first team plans next season? -
I think we are waiting for a replacement to be ready to come in to replace him before we sack him. I do think we are close to sacking him, Venus and Waggott. as I said previously I think the owners werent happy about the Brockhall plans after they found out we wont keep our Cat 1 Academy status as this is the one thing they have kept and keep investing him every season. We will see in the coming weeks whether I am right

Rovers v Derby - 6pm, Friday 16th

kick off time won't be 3pm @Stuart the EFL will make an announcement in due course. I would expect games will be move to 12pm kick offs time on Saturday -
Exactly. We didn't need to spend 12 million pounds on players but spend on players who will improve the overall quality of the squad like left back and centre back. When we got promote he should have sign a quality centre back(Ezri Konsa) and left side midfielder(Ben Osborn) plus a back up striker(Matt Smith) for money we paid for Brereton. He still hasn't sorted the defensive issues we had. Mowbray has had enough money to spend to sort out the defensive issues during his time here. For a Centre back in his playing career he cant organise a defence. Same as Venus for defender. Shocking
-
We deserved a point at least. We have chances and hit the woodwork 3 times and I am pleased that Armstrong scored 2 goals but we conceded 2 soft goals still. Mowbray has had 3 years at this level to sort out the defence and he hasn't. Yes Kaminski is at fault for the second goal somewhat but he still had plenty to do. Anyway its a point. This squad can't play the way Mowbray wants them to do cos they aren't that sort of players to play that style. But cos Mowbray is far too stubborn to admit this and adapt his playing style to suit the players. Looks how the under 23's play and I would imagine this is how he wants the first team to play. I think/really hope the owners has decide his future already and we are seeking to find a replacement. Plenty of good choices out there, The target was set by Mowbray and his comment that this squad is top 6 quality. He cant change what he has said. You are correct. This result doesn't change that this season target was top 6/promotion and he has falling way short of that and this is has simply not been good enough. Andy Bayes on Radio Lancs mention to Kevin Gallagher about our possession stats and Gallagher commented most of that isn't in the right areas where it will hurt the opposition. Its the final third where dominating the ball will hurt teams

Out of contract this season. I dont him staying here. Think he move to club near his home -
Billy Barr is doing a very good job with them
-
Does it matter really? You asked the same question every year/season..

Says here on the 5th March communication to the owners go through Suhail Pasha https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19138838.mowbray-maintains-player-belief-amid-rovers-poor-run/
-
That's their way they do it. I dont think Mowbray should have a direct line the owners. Everything should go Pasha and good CEO(not Waggott) The last 4 managers have come from that Agency. Mowbray has done well but this season is unacceptable, Bowyer did a fairly good job but couldnt take us further, Lambert not here long enough as I think he would have got us top 6, Coyle was disaster. I hope they dont use any agency but appoint the best candidate whether it British manager like Wilder, Hughes, Neil, Ainsworth for example or we go foriegn head coach like Rosler or Ivic for example with Sporting director in place.
-
Cos this lack of communication between the owners and manager happened twice before with Bowyer and Lambert. Mowbray admitted this about a month I think that he doesnt have direct contact with the owners anymore and deals with Pasha now. The last 4 managers have come from that agency. No reason to think it wont again. He has felt the pressure for weeks now. Probably since that Reading game. His comments are directly towards the owners and not the fans cos of the lack of direct contact. He has felt the pressure the media and some question over his future. Its one win in 14 games which is unacceptable. He said he had built a top 6 quality team this season. his words. We are 17th in the league which is unacceptable totally. Of course he is under pressure from them after they backed his slow plan and backed him financially in terms of transfer fees and wages. Do you think they bankrolled it to finish 17th in the league? If you think he will be here next season fine BUT others don't including myself. I know your view already so why keep posting it?
