  1. So how do we work with Suhail and gain Venkys trust?
  2. The same manager who said this squad is top 6 quality. This is his squad and after 3 years of backing we are 17th in the league. Mowbray needs sacking before the squad rebuild happens
  3. Does he understand what it will take for us to get promotion from this league? Cant blame anyone for not wanting any limelight really can you. Or for not trusting many people in football
  4. I agree we have to cash in with only 12 months left on his deal. I am assuming Stuart you want Mowbray replacing as manager. I've asked the Summer 2021 transfer thread is how we replace Armstrong's goals and how we go about it. Where do you think this squad should be in the league and is it top 6 quality as Mowbray said earlier in the season? How would you like to see us play tactical Stuart?
  5. The biggest question after the manager question is how do we replace Armstrong's goals and does it require a different type of striker and different formation/style of play to get results need next season? Has anyone got any thoughts or opinions on this?
  6. Similar to our 1st season at this level with Rhodes. Mowbray should have adapted his tactics and move to 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 during the season but he has failed to do so. But the main problem has been Mowbray failing to use the 12 million pounds he spent on Gallagher and Brereton and use that money to improve the overall strength of the team. Are you going be happy when we sell Armstrong this summer?
  7. Wouldnt he apply for the Settlement scheme in the UK? Wide. Either in 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2?
  8. But Armstrong is a striker and not a winger tho Stuart. If Mowbray had sign a wide left player in our 1st season then Armstrong would have played up front more earlier
  9. Have you seen him play? He started off at the Atletico Madrid Academy. Could be gem of player. Who knows. Also Rangers are after him also Thank God we never sign Jamie Vardy from non league. Imagine the uproar by some fans
  10. Rovers linked with Morecambe out of contract winger Carlos Mendes Gomes in today Daily Mirror. Scored 12 goals this season..
  11. Dont think Andy is saying we should keep him. In fact he wants Mowbray to be replace. But he has just posted some data
  12. Would they be any noise or leaks considering the national media/reporters aren't interested in us at all now. You only Nixon cover us and his last report was foriegn coach to replace Mowbray if the owners change it after a end of season review. He reply to a Rovers fan today.saying the owners cant be happy with this season after financial backing Mowbray Are Local journalists going to sort of inside info he will be sack? Cant see it
  13. on the Mowbray, is he talking to the owners or to Pasha and Waggott? on Waggott, I can't think of one decision he has made that has major decision. Decisions on season tickets and cost are decide in Pune after talks with Waggott. Also that article is almost 3 years old so have things change where Balaji is responsible for Rovers now with Others more focus on the businesses in India now? I trusted JB info.
  14. look in the post and its tell you unless you are saying what JB says is wrong?
  15. You are most welcome oldjamfan What major decisions has Waggott made without the authorise of Pasha or Owners? What was Mowbray exactly words?
  16. Its should be get rid of Mowbray, bring in a new manager/head coach. Then sign some quality players this summer aswell as promote 3 or 4 players from the under like Dan Pike, Conor McBride, etc into the 1st team squad for next season
  17. It is right that the entire country pays it respects to Prince Philip and no football games should be played at the same time as his funeral.
  18. @J*Balready explained that Pasha and Babu worked for Balaji. Here is J*B post from 21st March on Pasha and Babu Suhail Pasha, who has worked for the family since 2009 in a whole host of roles. He started off relatively low in the business but has done well and now has Balaji’s support. He does a whole host of jobs but is trusted to run Balaji’s investments and make decisions on his behalf. He’s well trusted and in the inner circle. He is currently living in the area and running Rovers, reporting directly back to Balaji. Gandhi Babu, he works between Zurich and Pune and manages Balaji’s group of investments of which Rovers is one. He’s trusted by Balaji and reports back to him on the progress of his investments individually and as a group. If you have a business and want investment from Venkys, you speak to Babu who decides whether it is worth it and if so, recommends it back up the ladder. Balaji trusts Mowbray because he thinks he’s honest. He’s been stung before by people taking advantage and he doesn’t think Mowbray is doing. So he has his support. To fulfil EFL requirements you must have someone they deem to be up to standard as CEO and FD. Mowbray was asked for recommendations on who could fit these roles, in came Waggott as CEO. They fulfil their obligations within the club but ultimately Waggott reports to Pasha and Cheston reports to Babu. Key decisions (from money to on the pitch) are taken by Pasha and Babu. https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/34120-tony-mowbray-discussion/?do=findComment&comment=2190737
  19. No you wouldn't espicsally that Mowbray would play him out wide most of the time. Why not sign a wide player instead? But Mowbray messed up massively on his 2 biggest signings. He wanted Gallagher in our 1st season back at this level but he couldn;t agree terms so he looked at other options like Brereton. He should have bought a quality centre back, left side midfielder and back up striker. Mention 3 players we could have got for the same money as we paid for Brereton. I would like to see Gallagher and Armstrong up front together but Mowbray will never do it as its against his preferred way of playing. He isn't ruined Brereton by playing him wide as I think hes played a wide role in a front 3. But Gallagher he has deffo ruined him completely by playing him wide
  20. We should sign Cooper a couple of seasons ago. Just what we need. Still would be in favour of us signing now this summer especially if we sell Armstrong for 20 million. Reinvesting the money in improving the squad overall
  21. I would look at Millwall player Ben Thompson this summer. Out of contract this summer I believe.
  22. Would anyone look at signing midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City who is on loan at Luton Town? He is 22 years old and is he going to break into their first team plans next season?
  23. I think we are waiting for a replacement to be ready to come in to replace him before we sack him. I do think we are close to sacking him, Venus and Waggott. as I said previously I think the owners werent happy about the Brockhall plans after they found out we wont keep our Cat 1 Academy status as this is the one thing they have kept and keep investing him every season. We will see in the coming weeks whether I am right
