  1. So would you had sold Nyambe, Rothwell, Brereton and Lenihan this summer then? Btw, I haven't failed to grasp anything thanks. Like I have said that they players have been offered new improved contracts. So its with the players and their agents I haven't said we have to become solely reliant on academy graduates but bringing through academy players will be major part of any future player strategy. But you are far too quick to judge and failed to realise that some players need time to settled in. I've seen you do it time after time with different players. Maybe realised that last season pre season was far too short and a proper year at the club working under our fitness coach and physio has done him a world of good. He was good and performance well last season but he is far more confident this season than previous season. But we signed him cos of his potential and sadly its took over 2 years for us to see it. But He was been very good this season and scoring goals now. 7 goals. Do you reckon he will 20 goals this season now? Like I did previous you are far too quick to judge. I will look to judge each player after they have played a few more games. Far too early to judge them in my opinion. You know what happened with Maja transfer.
  2. Not true at all since he joined from Hull City where he was commercial sales manager and you failed to mention 8 years in business development at Zoo digital. Here is full profile if people want to see https://www.linkedin.com/in/paul-fielder-79871720 Rovers used to be that way but don't anymore publicise it
  3. Come from Hull City and has been in place since July according to what I have research about him. Seems to have a good CV from what I have read We don't make these appointment public anymore.
  4. Well these players have been offered new improved contracts and they will be looking at their options. But with the financial reset that is happening at most championship clubs are they getting to get better offers out there. Also players will want to be playing regular aswell. Waggott said last week that we can't keep over spending and we have reduce our dependence on Venkys money. You just need to look other clubs out there and alot of clubs are reduce their budgets out there. Over the past 18 months we have a financial reset in the championship where clubs are not paying silly transfer fees anymore. Our academy will continue to play Cos I am not judging the signings so far as they havent had many games to play in. I will judge them after 20 to 30 games in when they had time to play and settled into the club and how we play. I think our current starting 11 is top half quality and as Saturday proved we are playing well. Not sure we could improve our starting 11 unless we got a Maja in. We all knew what happened with Maja and but Brereton(7), Gallagher(3) and Dolan(2) have scored 12 gaols between them in 9 games. So I would say the lack of striker isn't a problem at the minute but we need a another striker in January. Firstly, the improvement has come from the Manager and the coaching staff by playing the players to a formation and tactics that suits them. Yes getting Ayala fit and ready to play regular has to be how we are training with him and the work that Liam Mason and Andrew Proctor have done with him. Well some of us said that Pickering would be good signing and just need time to settle in and get used to how we wanted to play. Brereton has step up to the plate and scored 7 goals already. I did tell you that he was capable of stepping up to the plate to score the goals. He has the talent and he is proving his worth. Dolan has been very good this season and yet again showing his worth to the team and for such a young player showing why he should be first team regular in this team.
  5. Well Farke has signed a new contract at Norwich recently for 4 more years. Webber's contract is up at the end of the season and from reports he will leave
  6. What owners negligence? They back the club and players have been offered new contracts like Lenihan, Rothwell,, etc. Disagree on the summer window so far. Yes we did failed to sign a striker but Brereton, Dolan and Gallgher have step up to the plate so far. We see where we finish but I think they are possible 2 places(maybe 3) left for Playoffs places this season and I think we are one about 12 teams challenging for those 2 places. Injuries, suspensions, players form and what happens in January window will play a massive part in this playoff season
  7. I agree on the Venus theory with you. Not sure Venus does much coaching now. I think Mowbray and his staff has had hard and long over the summer look at how to best from his squad and found a style that's suits the squad and getting the best from them
  8. They spent 60 million pounds on new players. Yes alot of players signed from overseas so I guess you have settling in period for them. I do wonder if Pukki and Krul will be there next season.. I wouldn't say spending over 8 million pounds each on 3 players are cheap gambles but they decided to go young players instead on PL experience.. On loan signings. They had 4 loan players last season as this season squad had. He missed the Everton game due to personal reasons
  9. Spurs were bloody awful 1st half
  10. Thats why I disagree with you. I don't think Man Utd front 4 is any better than Man City or Chelsea or Liverpool to be honest. For me, if you were to asked me to be my Premier League best front 4 my main striker wouldn't be from any of those clubs to be honest. Also we are only 6 games in and we seen some teams struggled for the first 3 games like Arsenal and then we get a brillant performance like today against Spurs. To Manchester United were the closer challenges last season. They will challenge for the title this season. We have 4 quality teams challenging the title this season I think Farke has to change formations and tactics otherwise I don't see them challenging to survive, in the PL. He has to made them more defensively solid. You mention recruitment and I have to admit I havent really looked at it but surprise that Billy Gilmour hasn;t played more. Expect this maybe Krul and Pukki last season as regulars in the team. I have a look at their transfers and reply with more detailed view on them later if thats ok
  11. It isn't luck at all. Yesterday win wasn't luck but players out performing the opposition and Mowbray picking the right team and not over complicating it. People will start to change the mind cos they seeing the team win, playing with passion and belief, plus seeing them live inside a stadium setting will change people minds. I know a few people who have change the mind already on Mowbray future and would rather keep him. Thats the opinion and respect them for it
  12. Yet are in the top 4 and played some good football at times. Guardiola out tactical Tuchel yesterday who had no answer to the City players and how they played. if it was one season yes but it isn't. What do you make of Farke's tactics and how he using his players in his formation?
  13. Very harsh on Solksjaer. For me, they have the right managers to challenge for honors. But United never challenge for the title when they had Mourinho or Van Gaal. How much did both spend when managed there? McTominay is quality player for them He did look very good but Vardy had enough chances to win the game for Leicester. I would say Burnley look weaker defensively than previous years. I feel their time in PL is done Think embarrassment is harsh. Tho Farke and Norwich need to look how they set up and use certain players.
  14. I agree with you that we should be offering to non ST holders 15 pounds for adults for Coventry game and a pound for under 15's. And the same offer for the Reading game. Plus kids get a club shirt for half price with free shirt printing when these tickets are bought.
  15. Would you buy a season ticket if safe standing was allowed in now And of course all fans should be cousult before anything happens
  16. I did thanks Rigger. But I have also read the Fans forum minutes which gave you the answer
  17. Allardyce called his villa in Spain he bought from his Newcastle pay off St James Park so I am told
  18. cos the government has only just allowing it to happen? Plus Rovers need to consult fans whether it is welcome or needed, plus where it will go and coosult any fans who might be affected by this change
  19. I was comparing to the last 2 previous seasons rigger not just last season but the squad is very different and we have much younger, more energetic and athletic squad than we did then
  20. Rovers are trying a number of different schemes Gav posted a link about one of them this morning
  21. Sky Football and from I watched on Match of the Day that it was 3-5-2. That penalty was a shocking miss by Bruno Fernandes He was losing his temper yesterday during the game. Also he went 3-5-2 yesterday. I think its a good point that Farke and Norwich look a quality championship team but when its they get to the PL they are defensively weak plus both Watford and Brentford look better suited to Premier League football
  22. well it isn't the same players as 2 seasons is it. Ayala, Kaminski, Pickering, Dolan. Plus Brereton, Rothwell, Buckley, Travis and Nyambe 2 years older, wiser and more experience. Plus alot of older players have gone aswell.
