Championship Season 2020 - 2021
chaddyrovers replied to Hoochie Bloochie Mama's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Not from the camera angle I seen on Soccer Saturday. -
Despite today win I still believe need a change of manager who can achieve the aim of getting us back to the Premier League. I respect fans views that want to stick with Mowbray in the long term and thats their right. We can discussed the issues and topics in a respectful way. Me and Dan Clough have different views on Mowbray's future but we both want the best for Blackburn Rovers Football Club

Really pleased with the win today and the clean sheet. It's the first time in months I enjoyed listening to the Radio Lancs commentary of Bayes and Gallagher. The front 3 played well and it was good to Gallagher scored and Dolan playing so well. Maybe Mowbray should have started him more. Trybull seem to have a good game and Buckley next to him. The back 4 played as an unit and from what Gallagher said the full back didnt over attack today and kept it simple. I will watch the game back in the morning but it feels good to win. This doesn't change my view that we need a change of manager if we are going to achieve getting back to the premier league in the future

Championship Season 2020 - 2021

Give over with an agenda against Warnock. It was a deffo pen on Bidwell. What other incidents makes you post such comments? -
The same old rhetoric for the past 3 years from Mowbray about defensive signings. It's getting boring now. You had more than enough time to make quality signings for the squad and it should be a squad. We all suggested realistic signings for us to sign over last 3 years

Mowbrays Successor

Depends on what they want from coaching and whether they enjoy developing youth players -
I never said it did tho. I just said I couldn't bet against my team..that's it. Why did I need anything? My statements m/comments on Mowbray are on the site so can hardly say otherwise can I.

Could never bet on Rovers going down

Yes he had falling out with one player who has since apologised for not passing on the instructions quick enough Better question is, do either of them want to be next Rovers manager after Mowbray?. -
Danny Cowley, Mark Hughes, David Artell, Damien Johnson and Gary Rowett

Change my mind after the Barnsley away game. Posted a very detailed post why I think Mowbray should go in this thread. Then in the Mowbray successor thread posted who would be on my shortlist..
-
Think it's for family reasons
-
Mowbray said the aim was top 6. I dont think the overall squad is top 6 quality we shouldn't be bottom half this squad. Haven't I Mowbray be replace as manager? He had enough time and financial backing to build a top 6 quality squad
-
I don't see us getting relegated btw. Lenihan has miss 4 games this season and similar amount last season aswell. Williams isnt our player anymore. Ayala shouldnt be signed here. We should have signed Jake Cooper or John Egan when we got promoted or this summer someone like Carter Vickers this summer. We didnt. I think Harwood-Bellis played ok last week
-
Enjoyed your move to MLS Derrick
-
Let's hope Jack Dowling is good appointment
-
Do you not think that the lack of proper rest time during the summer and proper five to six pre season has cost Rovers and other teams this season in terms of injuries and fitness.
-
Liam Mason who was under Chris Rush in the fitness department has taken on the lead fitness coaching role with Dowling coming in under him
-
We are waiting for them to make a decision on Mowbray and the future of the club Do you still think Mowbray will be sack before the Millwall and the 2 home games against Swansea and Brentford? I think if he was getting sack it would be done by now. It hasn't happened yet. I said this last week that Cheston and Slivester could run the club until a new CEO is appoint by the owners. Cheston has been at the club for 7 years now and Slivester has been here for over 8 years now. Both experience footballing people.

Mowbrays Successor

Would you accept that most overseas managers are head coaches and rarely get involved in transfers as their clubs have director of football or Sporting director in place. So would you be in favour of bringing in director of football with an overseas head coach under him? -

have you read the article in the Athletic online paper about behind the scenes between the Wilder and Board. Plus the plan for next season and the board may want a director of football ih Keane isn't management type. He is better being a pundit on TV -
So what pressure can you put on them?
-
The people who decide the decision Mowbray's future are based in India

Where have you read he is likely to be sack? Bruce wouldnt be worst appointment. Plus number 2 is likely to be Steve Agnew aswell. If he is available in the summer then he must a target tho I think Sheffield United would stupid and dumb to sack Wilder when they go down. He is likely to bring them back up next season -
Thanks for sharing
