  1. Any other team lost four in a row? The Premier League champions. Not lost that many in a row since the 1920s. At least we are in good company. 🥴
  2. Thats true enough. 1-1 and momentum on our side. We will never know.
  3. Bearing in mind the injuries i am happy with that team. Danger and imagination down the right again. Brereton running at the defence with something to prove. Davenport provides solidity snd Dack as impact sub if necessary. He hasn't got his mojo back yet.
  4. I readily admit that things look rather dismal. Not Sheffield Wednesday, Birmingham, Derby, Notts Forest all big club dismal. But rather dismal. This whole thread is about Mowbray but the players have a role to play too. To be honest things have gone rather tits up since we tried to shoehorn Dack back into the system. The goals have come from Nyambe, Elliott, Armstrong combos. We have also had to shoehorn in an almost fit Travis. We were screaming to get Dack back in and he hasn’t pulled up trees. We have a good squad. I would give Dack a rest, bring Elliott back, bin Bennett and give Davenport another shot. What we need is consistency and balance. We have neither. I wouldn’t ditch Mowbray yet. I know I am in the minority. We are two consecutive wins from feeling like Jack the Biscuit. Two more defeats with an unbalanced team and you can add me to the drizzle cake boycott.
  5. Money isn’t everything. It is a glamour position 🍸
  6. I would have him. Anyone else is just recycled goods. On paper our squad is strong for this division. The key to Norwich success is a consistent team. They need a league for themselves. Too good for the championship. Not good enough for the Premier League.
  7. https://www.waitrosecellar.com/sauvignon-blanc/brancott-estate-sauvignon-blanc That’ll see you through the evening Sir and at a particularly attractive price.
  8. The only way a new manager would come in is with a promised transfer kitty. Exit Adam Armstrong.
  9. Not sure he is in best physical shape at the moment. His mental shape has always been questionable. The honours section in Wikipedia is telling.
  10. I seem to recall the message board was delighted to get money for him when he went to Palace. Seen as a bit of a donkey by posters.
  11. Three points against an average team. If it gets us where we need in the table, so be it. Glad we have a more settled defence. We are doing Liverpool and Everton a big favour developing their talent. They are doing us a big favour loaning us their talent. Hope the trend continues.
  12. Much talk about Branthwaite and our almost apologetic tone. We have been robbed on countless occasions. Unfortunate but not cynical tackle, not deemed a penalty by the ref. 11 v 11. We score and then boss the game. 1-0 away from home, clean sheet. “We take the points and move on.” 👏
  13. Horrible first half. What a difference a goal makes. I was worried with the subs straight after a goal. Bold move taking Elliott assist and Rothwell off just after he scored. Turned out just what we needed. Gallagher and Brereton ran their arses off and didn’t let them settle. Dack is Dack. Anything that pisses Warnock off warms the cockles of the heart on a freezing day in Pennsylvania.
  14. No goals in 90 shots. Rovers? No, Liverpool. 😳
  15. On the positive side I hear Branthwaite had a positive start.
  16. Ooh. A crisp little Motown reference there. Nicely done
  17. It could gave been worse. We could have been drawn against Crawley. 😳
  18. Stranger things happen at sea, but I do agree it is wishful thinking. That being said, if Charlie has managerial aspirations, he may be prepared to give something to get something. Fleetwood are probably burnt from the Barton experience and may play it safe. That would be a shame.
  19. Barton out at Fleetwood. Mulgrew for player manager and get him off our books?
  20. We are an injury or a few bookings away from him being the Centre forward. Being embarrassed for options up front is no bad thing. Wouldn’t that be a nice problem to have at the back. Maybe it will be, if Tony brings in a couple of loaner central defenders from the Premier League.
  21. Armstrong goal, Elliott assist. Return of Travis. Dack goal. Shut out the big club at their ground with a makeshift defence. Inspired substitutions. Luvly.
  22. Not a prayer. Best way to lose half the squad.
