  1. I guess parking the bus didn’t work out too well for Pulis.
  2. I was thinking about this. We have a terrific squad on paper. We are playing people out of position to accommodate everyone. Actually we have been doing that since Graham was around. Sell Armstrong for 20 million before his sell by date expires, and use the money to fix the defence. Technically we have wingers in Chapman and Downing so play Big Ben up front supported by Brereton, and Dack in midfield. Plus plenty of youngsters waiting in the wings.
  3. No but the manager in 5th place has. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/55381160 We have been there before. A procession of losers and dodgy deals all requiring pay off. Like everyone, I thought this was our year. It still may be. I don’t want to go back to the days of hire and fire. We have a good team with valuable players. We need a bit of luck with injuries and a consistent run. This is a hard league with 6 teams at least on Premier league pay offs from relegation. Nothing is great about this year but let’s review once we get Dack, Bretherton and Travis back. Oh and our fans.
  4. It is only December 16th but I will take the present now Santa. . Thank you.
  5. Another no good manager like Roy Hodgson who did nothing when they were fired by Rovers 🤔
  6. I keep hearing about Roy Keane. Just ask Ipswich fans how he screwed their club. We had our chance and we wouldn’t pay the money for Warnock. If you want gritty, it might as well be gritty and successful.
  7. Very proud of the lads. Both goals were absolute class. The composure of Davenport to tee the ball up and choose his position under pressure having just come on was special. There is a confidence and desire in the youngsters that is wonderful to see.
  8. For who in particular ??? I am sure the team appreciate your sacrifice. Probably scares the cat away though.
  9. Put my CIS insurance training top on at half time for good luck. Took it off when Brentford scored. Coincidence? Anyone else have daft rituals to get us a result, or am I on my own in the OCD Rovers fan club?
  10. Tell that to my Wednesday mate. The sub who was subbed on Saturday. ?
  11. I hope we give it a right good go just like Klopp and the commentator just did ?
  12. That’s impressive. I have backed Rovers to lose a few times back in the day because I always lose at betting. ?
  13. So pleased for him. He was jerked around at the start. He and Gallagher were bought as long term replacements and were played sporadically out of position. Now is their chance to shine and they are. “I’ll take the positives from this game and we move on. “ Actually I will take the positive out of my drinks cabinet and move on to the next positive in my drinks cabinet. Make no mistake. This feels bloody magic on so many levels. As long as Mowbray doesn’t get the dreaded manager of the month we can kick on.
  14. That is sooo funny. Some classic quotes on there. Including this.
  15. I think that Deepdale Duck neighbor of yours will be needing a quack in the morning.
  16. Coyle 8 months? Seemed an eternity. Otherwise fair assessment.
  17. I like a bit of alliteration Brereton, Blackburn,Biden,Beer,Brilliant.
  18. 13 out now. People who wanted to get him toughened up now have their wish. https://www.hartlepoolmail.co.uk/sport/football/hartlepool-united-confirm-loan-signing-blackburn-rovers-defender-tyler-magloire-who-faster-psg-star-kylian-mbappe-3028149
  19. Anyone still worried about Downing? We are dropping like flies with injuries and bookings mounting up. Football brain, versatile and if we get an hour a game out of him that gives us options.
  20. Candidate for man of the match on ESPN plus
  21. C’mon guys, if we tonk Boro it will be sex and drugs and rock n’roll again. I need to get through Tuesday night over here as well. Could be like Darlington on a Thursday night on steroids.
  22. I think it is prudent. Proven player knows our system and flexible on the left side. Did a good job for us. Plus our squad is threadbare at the moment. Bound to get more so in the coming weeks. Heck, we are not re-signing Danny Murphy. ?
  23. Thank God. Difficult to see from Coopersburg Pennsylvania. ? Thinking of you as I listen to Boris actually taking real questions from real people. Not a fan of his but I appreciate him taking the questions. President clown pants doesn’t even take questions from the media Maybe our Tony could have regular phone ins? ?
