  1. Hey Tyrone don't worry about it, we all get things cataclysmically wrong occasionally. I'm sure you'll be pulling me up soon enough, possibly on my spelling of cataclysmically.
  2. Didn't it? Is that an Alan Nixon theory? The manager has said all summer that funds were available. In fact the club said that some funds were left over from the January transfer window. They are hardly likely to tell us the amount. Whilst no one thought we'd spend 6million you posted that there was no cheque book at all.
  3. Not really Rev. He asked about any Rovers supporters message boards he should read. I coughed then put on The Best of Sabbat. Bloody awful journey all in all.
  4. Nice touch Rev. You always said this transfer would happen so it’s good to see you’ve been proven right. Yet another poster with their finger on the pulse. ?
  5. What with? The magic cheque book? The one you told everyone weeks ago that didn’t exist?
  6. What on Earth was he all aboùt. Terrible terrible player. Im sure I’ve loads of these. Two that spring to mind, Salgado. Just couldn’t see it after his first few games with us. He went on to become a great player (which of course he was, you don’t play for Madrid for that long otherwise). Nyambe. I’d have looked to replace his back in January. Since then he’s come on leaps and bounds.
  7. Lovely job Perth. If you could remove the footballs and replace with white circles (as per blue on the original) and go back to it being a halved design then that's my new screen saver, t-shirt, flag and forehead tattoo sorted.
  8. Agreed. And he has knives. Which for me should mean he'd be better at holding the ball up and in an aerial dual. Avoid.
  9. The original. Complete with wishy washy under coat blue ironically.
  10. That's excellent. And of course, how could I forget, this fantastic effort from The Marple Leaf:
  11. As seen on the top of the coffin following Rovers Premier League relegation. Power Corruption & Lies indeed.
  12. Go on the Bubbles! 3-1 to the good guys after the 1st leg.
  13. I know what you’re saying Rev, but 5 points from 9, mid table after 3 games, with 129 points left to play for. It’s not how I’d define a “must win” game.
  14. That's terrible. Poor fella. Thanks for posting Aggy.
  15. Blimey, he must be in a bad way. Hope he pulls through.
  16. Loved it today. Proper team. Fans were brilliant. Proud.
  17. Where does Armstrong play? Nice problem to have I’d say. Across the front three / either side of Dack / up front. As for the transfer budget you know as much as I do about it. Anyroad, excuse me, I’m off to the delightful Admiral of the Humber.
  18. In fairness Matty while that was the case but most on here would undoubtedly have been up in arms / apoplectic with rage.
  19. On a more positive note, Shearer, Sutton, Rhodes. It’s been said before but what on earth would BRFCS been like when Rovers bought Shearer and sold Speedie! ?? the Samaritans would have been ringing themselves! “£3.3m on one player? Games gone” “His scoring record is rubbish!” “If he was any good he’d already be at a big club” “Is he Chinese?” One bloke will have been so irate he’d taken his dogs for a walk. Perhaps a strongly worded letter to the Telegraph, Jack Straw, Jack Walker? Direct debit stopped on the season ticket and to hell with the consequences. Never heard of the lad. Fingers crossed.
  20. Rev - probably your best bet is to ring the Telegraph and tell them to cease production until we've signed someone.
  21. Yer man told us that Armstrong was signing on the Thursday before it was announced on the Monday. He couldn't have been more certain. He must know someone at the club. Leave it at that I say - doubt he'll be able to elaborate.
