  1. I'm kinda with you there, we didn't have a single postive substitution to make and pretty much every player who went off looked absolutely goosed. Every sub was bloody useless!
  2. If anything summed up Breretons game it was the useless bastard managed to be offside from a free kick taken 6 yards from our goal line giving them chance to get the ball back into our half!!!!
  3. Our only hope now is from somewhere our forwards find some sort of form. We have categorically proved we can't chase a game (spectacularly!), so the only hope we have is that our forwards can do something. Unfortunately I think they just look completely spent.
  4. The ending to this season couldn't be more "Rovers" if we tried. We aren't bad, we aren't great either but my god we couldn't be more frustrating!! We weren't scoring that game no matter how long we played, the lack of cohesion was tough to watch. If I see Brereton (I refuse to call him Diaz now!!) run to the oppositions corner flag and push a bloke in the back again I think I will spontaneously combust, it is absolutely braindead.
  5. Great comeback and a win by a few goals would not have been lucky. The goals conceded were so concerning but and its a big but we never stopped trying going forwards and I do praise that. JRC was outstanding!
  6. With regards to the first goal Morton gets a touch onto the ball he doesn't need which changes its direction. Pears actually did OK to get any real block on it after changing direction so late.
  7. Diaz may aswell be in Spain now, never thought I'd prefer Gallagher but you are testing me young Benjamin!
  8. I'm sure Huddersfield fans would say they have been shite this half, where the hell that leaves us!
  9. 1 point gained from a losing position this season, good lord. The worst record in the country! We cannot go behind today.
  10. I'm just praying the lads find some form tomorrow. If I'm being brutally honest we don't have masses of different personnel to actually pick from with our replacements. We don't have a form player to replace an out of form player. We are getting to the point now where just not having people like Gallagher and Morton in the team will give fans the boost, can somebody step up?
  11. I ultimately struggle to dig the players out too much, they needed help in January and we are reaping the pain of the calamitous transfer window. Yesterday was an awful day, poor performances all around but we know the squad well, the options ultimately aren't there. We simply do not possess the goal scoring options of most clubs in the top half. Brereton had a 2 season blast, Gallagher has never been a consistent scorer, Dack has been injured for nearly 3 years. We had to address this problem in January, we didn't and we all deep down knew this was going to happen. It hurts like hell but I'm not willing to say they aren't trying, they need help. I painfully feel we are going to flop over the line now, scoring less than a goal a game in the remaining fixtures!
  12. I find stuff like this so frustrating, between the coaching team and the lad himself it should have been sorted out long ago. I stand by that this season is our best chance of getting out of the league, and if even young lads can't see that and put in what the manager wants then I'm massively disappointed.
  13. Dack back is absolutely massive, you just know he will score in the next 2/3 games. His ability to nick goals is probably our best chance of making the play offs. I honestly think he is that important.
  14. Absolutely magnificent decision, they are our top Rivals end of story. I remember City's promotion at Ewood all too well, to see Burnley having a party at Ewood, no chance!! Well done BRFC.
  15. Hedges and JRC are so comfortable on the ball and so willing to take it. Taking them off gave us no out ball for the rest of the game, we literally had no spell of holding onto the ball. To be honest those subs would have made for a very long extra time had it stayed 2-2. Great effort up to the 80th min, terrible shape afterwards!!!
  16. To be fair I added to that noise with an "ooooo", as I thought it was a great effort at an attempt forward which before that had been in short supply. Then Thomas did great to keep it in and supply a top assist.
  17. Buckley is a very good player, the problem he has is that his style of floaty close control looks really bad when it doesn't come off. His ability to hold the ball and keep it under massive pressure is probably the best in the squad, just needs a bit more consistency.
