  1. He’s already amongst the early favourites.
  2. That would depend on him getting another job, I reckon. I don't think he'll make himself unemployed, but we shall see...........
  3. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24918766.eustace-sends-clear-contract-message-blackburn-board/ I'd be amazed if Eustace is here in August.
  4. You would think his agent will be putting his hat in the ring at Derby.
  5. Fair enough. Let’s face it, the attendance at both games will be poor.
  6. I would argue that, at the price, if a non - season ticket holder had to pick between this game and Plymouth at home the following week, this would be the more attractive.
  7. I would say it's a more attractive game to non - season ticket holders, who pick and choose their matches. As a season ticket holder, it's an extra game to pay for, against an unglamorous Premier league club, at an inconvenient time. Add to that, the game is readily available to watch free of charge on tv.
  8. I just save the ticket on my phone from the email and it's always scanned with no issues at the turnstile. I work for a certain rail company which still uses faxes, so thinking of asking the ticket office to fax a ticket to me 😉
  9. Meanwhile, Rovers are on the way to Watford 😉
  10. Sounds like we asked about an option to buy clause, and then they remembered Deadline Day 2023 😱
  11. I’ll believe this when it’s signed and sealed! I’ve just read an article which states that he’s “speeding up for a medical.” What could possibly go wrong? 🙄
  12. We've already got Forshaw who can't run. You're seeing it through decade old glasses. There's a reason why (League One) Blackpool are getting shot. If we're that desperate, Billy Sharp would be a better bet. Strewth, this is what we've become!
  13. Will probably try to do the medical in the bogs at Watford Gap services tomorrow evening, and the paperwork on the secretary’s mobile.
  14. Go on, I’ll bite 😂 Not in any context at all can the signings of Sanderson and Forshaw be described as “ambitious”. Sanderson appears to be an adequate replacement for McFadzean, albeit he’s only a loan. That still does not mean he is an “ambitious signing”. As for Forshaw being “ambitious”, Strewth!!! He’s got a pulse and can kick a ball, but that’s as good as it gets. As I’m sure Eustace would be happy to tell you, what we need is players who are ready and able to go straight into the team and, ideally, better than what we already have. Are you really confident that after such a poor window to date that we will suddenly pull a couple of rabbits from the hat? I’m certainly not.
  15. Suhail Pasha, ( unless you can get him drunk 😉 )
  16. Delighted to finally win again against a local rival, (the biannual "I don't give a sh*t about them" routine is tedious). We deserved the win, but in my opinion we got very lucky in the latter phase of the game. We've had enough bad luck, so we'll take it. When it goes against us, I always say "it's a result on a piece of paper", so the same applies here. Now for a few days of transfer fiascos.
  17. With the club focussed on an away match in London the following night, what could possibly go wrong?
  18. Exactly. Like Eustace, he’s giving political responses, which is the right thing to do in public.
  19. Only because the site was down, Chris 😉 You’re now making up for lost time 🙂
  20. Agreed, I think it sometimes works in our favour. It creates a better atmosphere in the stadium. 1 - 1 would be an improvement on our recent results against Preston at home, and would mean avoiding a sickening trip home on the M65 westbound with the nobbers.
  21. Come on, Chaddy.. I know when I sit down for my porridge in the morning, I’ll come on here to find you have spent the night defending Rovers’ honour 😉
  22. Heeeeere’s Chaddy !!!! 🙂 It was a light hearted joke, Chadders. Are you here for the night, now, to push the positive line?
