It makes you wonder. If we don't go up this season, how could we ever go up given our salary cap? We need to have a side with several graduates from the Academy in it because we can't buy our way out of the Championship. But when some come good, we can't apparently give them a pay rise commensurate with what they could get elsewhere. They leave, possibly to Championship rivals, and we start again! Its not exactly a recipe for success is it?

If we are looking for reinforcements we could have done much worse than that.

Yes----perspective . We haven't got past the first round (for us) in 5 years---that's perspective. What happened to the thrill of the draw, waiting to see who you'd get in the next round, a team being inspired and lifted by a Cup run? Some of the most exciting times we've had, occurred in Cup games. Not since TM rolled up. I accept we are having a great season in the League by the way, just fret the we may have lost some momentum today.
