We seem to like 12th for some reason! That's where we'll finish I predict.

Every club faces these challenges when they try to strengthen their team. All managed to sign at least one new player except Rovers. Why is that?
-
The context was pushing to get into the top 6 which TM has alluded to. We are certainly not good enough to go up I agree.
-
I think the transfer window was exceptional. I can't remember the last time we failed to land anyone. We knew that Dack and Holtby and Rothwell were out injured before the window closed. So, yes, bad luck, but we have decided for financial reasons to wee with the willie we've got. It won't be big enough!
-
Matter of balance imo. Result or adding to the" Ewood Experience". When the place is rocking (or when it used to be) with a cracking atmosphere, that seemed to spur the players on to me.
-
Ready-made alibi for the manager though when we finish halfway. Point is, as everybody knows, we didn't strengthen when we had the chance.
-
Usual merry-go round with you. If he's "very happy to knock everything Rovers do" and you "won't as a fan" then, by strong implication, you are saying Mercer isn't a fan. Its that simple but you'll wriggle out of it as you always do. "We respect each other"!!! Yeah right.
-
That's poor stuff Chaddy. Trump stuff. Are you saying Mercer isn't a Rovers supporter unless he thinks like you? Of course he is, we all are. No point being on here otherwise.
-
You wanted him out not long ago, now you're his greatest fan!

And an LP at that! -
We have played 7 games so far against the current bottom 6. We have only won 9 points! This is grossly inadequate. If we had any thoughts of promotion then that haplessness against poor sides will put paid to it in the end. It seems counter-intuitive but maybe we can psyche ourselves up better against tougher opponents? Its bloody soul-destroying I know that. Dreading playing Wigan again but so do Leeds I suppose!

The lads found his level!

Have a look at the sides at the bottom of that faux league table? Who did we beat?
-
Squabbles on here now pale into insignificance compared to how it was.
-
Yes---promotion not evolution.
-
Theoretically, of course we could make it from here, others have. But everything would have to go absolutely right for us. We are thinly stretched now and defence has been all season. So I can't see it. Some real tests coming up and its much more likely we will finish halfway. I'm afraid finishing in the play-offs has become an end in itself, after all, we have had so little to look forward to in the last decade or so.

We shouldn't just forget things because it doesn't suit your narrative!

OK, what's "great" about Hull losing?
-
What direction are they talking about then? Being linked with strikers they have no intention of genuinely bidding for?
-
Yes, odd that the wing experiment went on so long. He's lucky to have survived it.
-
All three are what I'd call "ball players", we have plenty of mid-fielders I agree, but not of the same type.
-
I wish!
-
Holtby, Dack and Rothwell all out at the same time. That is terrible luck. Run out of cover there I think.
-
That's the point. Wouldn't have minded Raya going if we'd got someone better. Instead we got someone of similar ability (opinions differ her I acknowledge) and on loan! So, in the summer we have to start over again.
