Football clubs like us don't spend £7M on any player unless he is ready to walk into the team. Please don't pretend all is going to plan with Brereton!. Its a disaster. If he comes good in a two or three years (and its a big "if") it still wouldn't justify it. Spent wisely that sort of money could have taken us into the top 6. We still might get there but Brereton won't be part of it.

Advice from Auditors-----collect as many mid-fielders as possible. Don't spend any money on defenders, including keepers---anyone can fill in there. Oh---and only buy British.

Why would be want to reappraise Dack and Reed? Never any doubt about them from the off. Same with Rothwell----just under-utilised. The Rodwell gamble seems to be paying off, Armstrong seems to be coming good at last, (but I accept he is not a left-winger) and Bell had a good game but has not had a good season. Time to reappraise is the end of the season. I notice that, for the more positive poster, £7M Brereton has now ceased to exist!

Would love to hold onto Dack, that first-time pass with the outside of the foot for the first goal was sublime. You can't teach that, the lad is a natural. I won't be the only one who noticed sadly! Let's hope we get as much as we can for him and the manager is allowed to spend most of it. Should be enough to fill any gaps I'd have thought. Much to look forward to.
