  1. In that article JRC was quoted as saying (regarding his Millwall performance) ‘I thought attacking-wise I was okay. I need to pick up on the defensive bits’ I wonder if he sees himself as being the box to box midfielder.
  2. link to job description: https://www.efl.com/siteassets/jobs/blackburn-rovers---social-media-officer---july-2021-28.07.2021.pdf
  3. Page 2 of this topic? If so, it’s a different one to the one I tracked down.
  4. That’s exactly what a club spy would say…🤔🧐
  5. I think I’ve found the post you’re talking about 😁
  6. It’s possible for someone to be both 😁 (I don’t think Mowbray is)
  7. Thank you for looking that up for me 😀 I wonder what determines if a cross is successful or not? - the same ‘ball in’ could have different outcomes depending on whether it’s a Sam Gallagher or an Alan Shearer ‘waiting in the middle’ I also imagine Wilcox and Ripley had far more than 5.8 per match in 94/95 - how the game has changed, not necessarily for the better.
  8. How many accurate crosses per match did the team ranked first have?
  9. Over the last nine seasons (including this one): we’d have been relegated 4 times there’d have been 2 further times when it would’ve depended on gd and 2 more on top of that where we’d have been safe by a single point
  10. I’m looking at the table and we’re 7th Our goal difference is the 14th worst in the league. Our goals scored is also 14th I can see the point you’re making, but not why you’re saying it puts us in 11th.
  11. More like 1/3 of the season - their runs were still very impressive though.
  12. Re your * - we’d have been bottom (by a point)
  13. Frustrating and encouraging in equal measures
  14. In fairness, most of them shouldn’t have been appointed in the first place…
  15. No one walks away from Burnley…they run as fast as they can 😁
  16. I like your thinking - particular given at the end of January this year, the team in 19th only had 13 points 😁
  17. Pet Shop Boys - West End Girls
  18. I do understand that thought. I just think, if we ‘fell that far’, there’s no way we’d ever get back to where we are now (let alone the premier league). I know people will cite Luton as an example, but as far as I’m aware, they ‘only’ dropped as far as the fifth tier.
  19. They’ll be in the ninth tier next season. I’d love to be rid of Venkys - I’m not convinced a drop of that magnitude would be ‘a price worth paying’
  20. We’d need Sunderland and West Brom not to win.
  21. We forgive you - just don’t do it again 😁
