Watched chunks of their Oxford game. Hull started fast, Gelhart knows how to attack the near post effectively and McBurnie still knows how to be in the right place at the right time. Other than that these are a lot less good than WBA and Birmingham. We competed well with those and conceded goals VAR would have taken minutes reviewing. A bit of balance- Opta missed the early save from Alebiyosu when in truth he had two unmarked Rovers he should have passed to for a tap in so the stats are wrong. After we scored we had much the better chances for all the Birmingham possession. I saw the triple late substitution with dread and it cost us. De Neve should not have been beaten to have allowed the Brum player to get into the area and Miller was rash challenging him when he was in the area.
