Exactly this. At the moment the club needs every supporter it can get so there should be an option to buy online or call in person at the ticket office. Right now when buying tickets or merchandise in the shop you can pay by cash or card, it's called having a choice. It's not a difficult concept to understand that people are not all the same.

In the games you mention what would you have done differently? -
Anybody who has been to the university of life will understand exactly what you and seemingly the majority are saying but it's almost like the senior employees at Ewood come up with ideas designed to piss off an already shrinking fan base. The biggest concern I have is that nobody down there is prepared to listen or canvass opinion. I have written to Lynsey Talbot as some of the quotes in the press release are attributed to her. I got a reply back from her telling me that she has referred my email to the ticket office. Personally I don't think this hare brained idea came from the ticket office at all rather it's a case of buck passing. There just doesn't seem to be any accountability at Ewood and the real worry is that nobody there sees the damage they are doing.

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/richard-keys-vincent-kompany-burnley-31690695 Gray and Keys are quite scathing about Kompany with Keys implying he is using Burnley as an audition for the City job. And although I'm not keen on either of the I have to say I agree with every word.

A tough day for Rovers as, for the first time this season our opponents were far better than us all over the pitch. Two significant moments knocked the stuffing out of me. The first goal and it's timing was crucial in my view. We had only just said it we get to half time at 0-0 that would be a result in itself and then we concede a cheap goal which deflates us. The silliness of Brittain really killed us, I have no words for his stupidity. From that moment for me it was damage limitation and unfortunately we capitulated in stoppage time. In truth the score wasn't harsh on us but once again we came up against a team who eclipse us in terms of budget and quality of player and yesterday it was a chasm. I haven't trawled through the posts on here and I'm sure Tomasson is getting pelters from some but for me, with the exception of yesterday he is still getting so much from his injury ravaged squad and I will not lay any blame at his door. That blame for me lies several thousand miles away. -
There was no urgency from the young Rovers team, no intensity with players happy to play at a sedate pace playing right into Wimbledons hands. I can't remember a game for a long time with so many stoppages which didn't help the flow of the game. Poor overall and not many of the players impressed like youngsters of recent times.

I'm certain in my own mind that paper tickets will be issued for this match. Complimentary tickets (of which I understand there are a lot) and corporate hospitality won't be expected to go online particularly the freebies (such as Waggott). Yet the lifeblood of the club are being used as guinea pigs for the club to pay lip service to some EFL charter.

Lord Westwood with the patch over one of his eyes. I too despised him when they took Gordon Lee from us after we won promotion.

1300 Rovers fans will be supporting our club at Southampton tomorrow. When you consider the cost and time to get there, the adult ticket price of £30 and Christmas around the corner I think it's terrific. -
Great news mate. Have a celebratory Christmas.

I have an inkling that there could be a Christmas party in the offing and all the players will be travelling to Southampton 😁😉 -
I have just been on the Cambridge website and guess what.......tickets are on sale and will be delivered to the recipient by first class post at a cost of £1.25. Digital Day my arse. https://www.venuetoolbox.com/cambridgeunited/asp/basket.asp?action=viewBasket&eventID={31A807FE-DC75-4602-B29C-231A20F1C061}

This 'one size fits all' diktat is far more prevalent and Rovers are jumping on the bandwagon. I have no problem with things like this being tried but there should be options available. But there isn't, it's Hobsons Choice. I have already had a text from a friend who won't be there and is doubtful whether he will renew his season ticket. And he won't be the only one. Our club is so myopic.

For one recent cup match (Walsall perhaps) I went for tickets and wasn't given a paper ticket but instead my season ticket card was updated to allow me and the others I was buying for to pass through the turnstile exactly as we would for a league game. Surely this is a better option and would in a large way satisfy this environmental nonsense. There would still be a demand for some paper tickets but a lot less.

This Digital Day (who the f*** came up with that name) is another in the catalogue of obstacles and barriers they keep putting up to deter supporters (one age group in particular) from attending. And the excuse of saving the planet by doing this just insults our intelligence. After every home game hundreds of cars are stuck on the clubs official car parks for up to an hour, more in some cases and most have their engines running to keep warm. Now that would be a feather in their environmental cap surely if they could come up with a solution. And tickets go immediately on open sale so season ticket holders who want to sit in their own seat will have to go online at 9 am today to guarantee their seat, a seat which they might have occupied for decades. It's almost like they are trying to discourage supporters from going when one of their primary roles is to get more bums on seats. Another huge own goal I'm afraid for which their justification is frankly embarrassing.

Last season Tomasson has the measure of Martin as we did the double over Swansea. In the away match we sat in with a four and a five when they had the ball and the press was more intense when they crossed the half way line. We scored three on the counter and limited them to next to nothing. I think Tomasson will come up with a similar game plan with the emphasis on countering. -

Rory Finneran is the youngest ever player in a match day squad for Rovers. Has he got massive feet or is it just the perspective of the picture? 😂😂 -

Scott Wharton was struggling with an injury just before he was substituted. His movement was definitely impaired although I noticed him on the pitch at full time. Hopefully precautionary as I thought last night was his best game for some time. -

Moran and Szmodics each had a passing accuracy of around 67%. Woefully inadequate.
