The problem with the 2 division format is too many games are irrelevant and most farcically with 8 teams in div 1 and 10 teams in div 2 not every team played each other twice in div 2. A similar nonsense in the blast format. Another thing I like is the continuity of fixtures. Baring a couple in July every match starts on Thursday and finishes on Sunday. Know exactly where you stand particularly when can start attending again. There as one season where lancs played one or two county championship games that coincided with a weekend.

Yeah the “top 6” fans spat their dummies out over their respective owners (some have been great for their clubs) having 2 days of nonsense. Try it for 11 bastard years causing irreparable damage.
